This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. This works quite well as long as you don't use a Dell USB docking station. That docking station overwhelms the USB bus with video signal and makes any other hub time out. Can't even use the docking station just for video and this for the USB. Otherwise it works like a charm. Fast switching between machines. 5 |

Bought it to replace an aging cable for a Mac docking station, the problem was that the secondary display connected to the docking station started to flicker and lose signal at any moment. But most cables I was able to buy in local stores only had the usbc physical connector, but still old USB 2.0 protocol which doesn't handle video signal. This cable worked perfectly with the docking station, is able to handle the HDMI video signal, and is the perfect length for the replacement. 5 |
