My first try at connecting the Epson scanner didnt go smoothly. I first tried connecting through a usb cord which may have been my problem. I uninstalled the software then reinstalled and went the wifi route and everthing went great. I was up and running in no time. I am starting a new scrapbook project with my husbands army photos and the Epson FastFotoFF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo and Document Scanner System is perfect for scanning and uploading his pictures. I have scanned about every size photo there is and none got stuck. The software is going to be a huge timesaver. I'm including an example of a photo taken in 1982 that has aged over the years plus the version the software enhanced in just seconds. Scanning his documents were just as easy. I am very impressed and excited to get on with the rest of the projects I have been putting off for years. I would recommend this scanner to anyone looking for a high quality product. You won't be disappointed. This is a review for the Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo and Document Scanner System that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This document scanner, out of the box, is ready for individual owners/users and centrally managed corporate workgroups with many users (frequent and occasional) and many scanners. It has built-in ethernet as well as USB. The included software is well thought out; the many details are organized nicely, and done so that it's straightforward for all the different target users can effectively organize their scanning activity - by type, by destination, etc. It's business-oriented, assumes you know how to use your computer, as opposed to consumer-oriented (spoon-feeding you social media and assuming *it* knows how you use your computer). The scans are fine and it works fast; the multi-page feeder will easily do a multi-page two-sided (duplex) document, and the software helps keep it all together etc. All in all, complete, comprehensive, quite good. If there's a downside, it's that there's a lot of different software modules it installs, and I found the updates a bit confusing - didn't find them automatically, and after I went and found & downloaded the update files, when I ran them it said they were already installed, so it's not immediately clear whether what came on the DVD is in fact the most current or whether what's installed was or even needed to be updated. It's OK in the sense that the software is complete and not buggy, so I can just get on with scanning.

This is a great little scanner! Download and install of the scanner software was super easy. My only complaint is that our router doesn't have a button to push to setup the wifi because we have a commercial grade router. So, I wasn't able to set it up on wifi. I was however able to setup using the USB cable. I wish there was an option to configure wifi when connected via usb. I LOVE that the scanner scans both sides of a document at the same time. This is a great document scanner. The only think that would make it better is if it could do higher resolution for pictures too, but it is just a document scanner and it preforms this task amazingly well. I'm very happy with this scanner! This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-300WR Wireless Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This is a great scanner for home office or small/medium businesses. It's compact, fast, and produces excellent scans. The USB connection is fast and simple but I chose connect the scanner to my network so that I could share it with multiple computers. Setup was a breeze, I connected the scanner to an open port on my router and the driver software installed easily and found the scanner on the network. I have run about 600 pages through the scanner and it has not had any problems. No jams or misfeeds and the double-sided scanning is very handy. I did not have any problems with image bleed-through on double-sided scans which I have had with other scanners in the past. I have scanned a variety of documents including contracts with signatures and some with images or notes written on them and the scanner & software handled them all just fine. I also sent some business cards through and they fed through without a problem even though you're supposed to use a sleeve for small items. The Document Capture Pro software does a good job of setting up jobs and presets with the shortcut buttons on the scanner. The shortcuts are handy for scanning directly to a folder on your computer, saving directly to DropBox, etc. The OCR works well to produce searchable PDF files. You can make adjustments in the software to rotate pages, fix skew, add/remove pages, etc. If you need advanced post-processing you might prefer the Epson Scan 2 software or a 3rd-party software as this scanner will work with any standard scanning software, but Document Capture Pro does a very good job for most needs. The fit and finish is very good and the scanner feels like it's built well. It's meant to be a workhorse and from what I've seen it should deliver on that promise. This is without a doubt the best scanner that I have ever owned. I was originally interested it the Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless Hight Speed Photo and Document Scanner for use only as a document scanner and it sure does impress. It will auto feed and scan double sided documents faster than I thought possible. The optical character recognition software does a great job reading and converting the text. The free trial of the included receipt manager is a great bonus. I will continue to use every day for scanning documents. But where this scanner truly shines at scanning photos. It can scan not only the front, but the back of a photo (dates/hand written notes/etc) quickly and with great quality. And the included software will auto organize, label, and even touch up or restore your old photo prints with great efficiency. Just search the internet for videos of this scanner in action and I guarantee that you will be impressed. The only down side I have found is that when the scanner is connected via wifi, and turned on, your computer will give you constant popup notifications advising that the scanner is ready for use. This can be fixed by disabling the Epson software at startup in your pc setting, but I wish and hope that Epson will fix this issue with a software update soon, and this is a minor flaw in an otherwise great product. I highly recommend the Epson FastFoto FF-680W Wireless High-speed Photo and Document Scanner System to anyone who wants a high-quality product that is easy and intuitive to use. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-320W Wireless scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Wow, what can I say, this is a great little scanner! I got this to use in the place of my flatbed scanner on my printer that I have been using for years to scan documents into my computer. What used to take 20 minutes to scan a 10 page double sided document I can now do in a couple of minutes - and the image quality is excellent! The software that comes with the scanner works well. You place the sheets in the feed tray and then press the scan button. The software automatically opens on your computer and it begins scanning the pages. When it has finished, you can delete or reorder the pages, then either save the document or do one of many things, like emailing it or uploading it to cloud storage. The software can do OCR to automatically detect the text in a document making for easy searching or copy/paste.

The Epson ES-400 ll Desktop Color Document Scanner is everything I have needed for having two small businesses. It is a duplex desktop document scanner and I never realized how badly I needed this in my life. Normally, my desk is a mess with receipts and documents that I must keep up with for several different reasons. It scans front and back at the same time and can do up to 35 pages a minute. It has a 50-sheet auto document feeder that lets me just sit back and let it do all the work. All I have to do is decide where I am going to send the document to in my computer and then let it do its thing. It is amazing to watch it go. I can put a long receipt and it gets every little detail on it. This scanner is very well made and just works like a charm It was easy to install the software & drivers. Everything pretty much did it itself. It worked the first time I tried it and has been amazing since. It is compact but everything opens and that is one of my favorite features is how the trays just fold in and out. I can scan a stack of papers in a flash. The software is amazing. The machine is fantastic, but the software is so good and powerful that it is unreal how fast I can get everything organized. My husband and I both have small businesses, and we keep receipts for everything. It was a pain trying to keep up with them and trying to scan and store them using my printer scanner. Now, it literally only takes a couple of minutes and I have his receipts where they need to be so I can pull them up at any time and the same with mine. Not to even mention I can save them in a searchable PDF format. It is just so easy. I can upload them to the cloud and not have to worry about anything. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce ES-400 II Duplex Desktop Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Unboxing was quick and easy! There was a quick-start manual included that consisted of the basic steps of 1) unwrap, 2) plug it in, 3) download/install the software. The installation walks through the order in which to plug things in (power, then USB) and automatically detects the scanner and continues. The installer has a couple options as to which parts to install - it requires the drivers & document capture software, for example, but optionally lets you NOT install the manuals/updater/uninstaller if you'd like. Selecting everything says it will take 415.9MB of space. The rest of the installation was a breeze. Launching the "Epson Scan 2" gives all sorts of options for quality, de-noise, brightness, etc. My favorite was the option to de-skew based on either the page or the content itself! Scanning is VERY quick - I've included a video showing a scan at 600DPI, 300dpi, and 200dpi. The speed does not sacrifice quality, it's great & color-accurate. The document-feeder works great, accurately separating pages & feeding them through quickly. The document-catcher tray slides out and even has a flip-up stop at the end to catch the papers as they come out so they aren't pushed off the end onto the floor. In summary, it's an awesome scanner. It's quick, high-quality, and yet also compact - perfect to keep on the side of my desk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Epson WorkForce ES-580W Scanner is an excellent document scanner. Setup and software install was straightforward. The software is user-friendly, it allows you to name, save, and direct the pdf files. It will also automatically rotate the document 180 degrees, no matter how you feed it. I love that I can scan any document size and type; from receipts to legal format documents to newspaper clippings. The scanner is very fast, at 35 pages per minute. The scan quality is very good. The Epson WorkForce ES-580W Scanner an excellent scanner. I highly recommend.
