Dod Bluetooth Keyboard Policy

Had to be the easiest warranty replacement i ever dod!

Read the fine print. This uses Bluetooth LE, and that requires an iPad3 or better. After wondering why it didn't work with either iPad2 here, I found that tidbit (which I had missed) in the fine print, hemmed, hawed, and opted to upgrade the iPad side of the system. It is a quality product, which on the one hand seems quite pricey for what is effectively a 2 button bluetooth keyboard, but on the other hand is much better made than whatever I might kludge up from a cheaper bluetooth keyboard with many more keys. The keys are lit, soft, and silent, and the device is considerably more affordable than some others in its niche - and with the keys on top, not over the edge, it works fine on carpets (some reviews indicate that is a weakness of some competing devices.) For hands-free page turning it really is ideal. Intended for foot operation, it is a bit larger than you'd expect from the pictures.

This keyboard works well with my Dell laptop. Easy Bluetooth connectivity.

Great BFF acklit keyboard that doesn’t require Bluetooth.

Not sure what's up with these other two reviewers ... I plugged it in, installed the DOD root certs from DISA and was able to access CAC-enabled features without even installing any drivers or whatever. It just worked right out of the box. Windows 10 laptop.

Would definitely purchase again. The Bluetooth is very quick unlike previous keyboard cases I've used.

B&H had this as a Deal of the Day and I snapped up two! I wonder how many they sold, because this light is a good value at retail, an an exceptional bargain as a DoD. As advertised it works well as an interview light. The color balance at Tungsten and Daylight is accurate. It's more of a spot so I purchased the barn doors and add some diffusion. It seems well constructed, not cheap.
