These speakers are used with a laptop computer that lost all sound through the sound card that is on the motherboard. They work great. Sound quality is better than the original laptop speakers. I'm very pleased with the Audioengine A2+ speakers. I bought them to use as portable speakers for my laptop computer. I chose the Audioengine A2+ model because I already have their 5+ speakers dedicated to my desktop computer for music and movies and I have experienced them to be of very good sound quality. In addition, they are pleasing to the eye. I would highly recommend Audioengine speakers. 5 |

Does what is says, great metal build with adding to not scratch your divide. It lifts up your computer by around 6 inches, but add that with the tilted angle of the screen it feels like a lot more. I use to mount the laptop as a secondary display. 5 |

I purchased these speakers for my computer setup and I was amazed at the build quality and sound. One speaker has the amp and electronics and supplies power to the other. These speakers are rated at 80 watts. 40 watts per channel and they are loud and clear. The frequency response is as advertised and it is flat across the spectrum with very, very little harmonic distortion. I could detect none. Excellent for a small room, computer or for DJ's. The controls and bass port are on the front for easy accessibility. Highly recommended. 5 |
