The LaCie 2TB Rugged External Hard Drive Does what it is advertised to do. It works with ease and connected with my MacBook Pro with no issues. It was definitely use friendly and began to Back up my Mac Immediately. I have several other LaCie Rugged Hard Drives, and they are great to travel with, small light and durable. I jut got this affordable but amazing external hard drive, paired it with my MacBook Pro (2017), and it's really fast as they advertise it. Just did Blackmagic speed test and its 210/220 mbp/s. Before this one, I got Glyph 5tb Blackbox Pro (6months ago), which served me very well for one project, very stable, but with the speed of 180 mbp/s. So my opinion is, that if you want the fastest external hard drive in this price range, for your MacBook Pro (or any usb-c device), with super fancy and minimal black design, this is definitely an external hard drive to buy. Btw its looks amazing, and I don't work for Lacie, I am a video editor :). 5 |
