Does Any Usb Mouse Work In Apple Computer

My work computer has two USB ports.I use one for my mouse and one for my web cam. I had no place for jump drives or lighting for zoom. This works great and I like the fact that I can turn the ports off and on. 5 |

This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase. 5 |

Do you need a robust USB hub that lights up with each connection? No. Any old USB hub will work. But as an on stage musician/producer/programmer, having something this robust, reliable and focused on reliability is 100% a necessity. I can't afford to have USB drops or shady connections. This hub served the purpose with perfect reliability and trust. 1 less thing to worry about technically in a live session. And that insurance is worth every penny. 5 |

Works will with my computer and because the mouse and keyboard use the same USB port it frees up space for other uses 5 |

This Mouse is better and less expensive than a Apple Magic Mouse! No Kidding. It is wireless and plugs into your computer for charging the battery. Slides around smoothly on many different surfaces unlike the magic mouse. Feels better in your hand too because is slightly taller. The price is right so try one and you love it! 5 |

Adding USB-C ports as the only option for connecting peripherals on a MacBook Pro has been a highly unfortunate connectivity decision by Apple. The USB-C standard has attempted to take a Swiss Army Knife approach to peripheral connectivity but has dead-ended with no chipsets that support USB-C hubs. Most hubs that plug into a USB-C port give lots of options for connectivity EXCEPT more USB-C ports, which, in some cases, further robs USB-C connectivity on the Mac. Enter this wonderful little gizmo. I still get two functional USB-C ports (two for data, with one of them supporting fast charging), two USB-3.1 ports, plus regular and micro SD card slots. Now I can plug my Logitech wireless mouse transmitter into a USB-3 port on the SIIG hub without having to use an Apple USB-C to USB-3 dongle and wasting one of my USB-C ports for the mouse. It has an aluminum body, looks like a high quality build, and works as advertised. I wish I'd found this little guy about five years ago. I would buy it again and highly recommend it! 5 |

I use it to connect any external drives, the mouse and anything else that uses a USB type-A to my Apple Powerbook. It's great and doesn't take too much space. 5 |

Used for digital cameraes + mouse/ keyboard. Does the job of extending your USB connection, but lowers your bandwidth. Stable. Had two pair of these - no connection problems. 5 |

Does exactly what it should ... card slides in and locks in place, plug into computer USB port, mount on complete. 5 |
