Does Apple Magic Mouse Have A Middle Button

What a dream this mouse is! I was using a 3 button Logitech mouse for CAD work along side my Apple Magic Mouse, and my hands and wrist were sore after a long days work. I was hesitant about spending this much on a mouse, but from the first touch, it was relief. The size is larger and sculpted to be very comfortable with all the buttons and scroll wheel well placed. It is solid and smooth as silk, feels like a very high quality piece of equipment, not like some cheap plastic ones. Highly recommended.

This mouse is a must have for anyone working with a 3D program that requires a middle mouse button. At first glance the mouse looks like any other mouse with a scroll wheel. Look closer. Between the left and right button is a real middle mouse button needed for navigating 3D space in most programs. Using a clickable scroll wheel instead of a real mouse button just doesn't work for me. The activation force required for clicking a scroll wheel is cramp inducing and it's too easy to accidentally scroll (zoom) at the same time. The CadMouse solves this problem with the extra button. I have a 3Dconnexion Space Mouse as well, so I don't know how I missed this gem. It's perfect for 3D on its own or as a Space Mouse companion. Thanks 3Dconnxion!

I have always used an Apple Magic Mouse. I also have used other mice at workstations from time to time. Never have I ever had a mouse fit so perfectly for my hand. Its just a natural feeling. Every other mouse now feels foreign and difficult after getting use to this mouse. I do miss some gestures from the Apple Magic mouse, but you can map the additional 3 buttons on the MX Vertical to do whatever you want. It may not be for everyone but it serves my purposes great. After using an Apple Magic Mouse for many years, not ergonomic by any means, it became all too clear I need something that was much easier on the hands and wrist. This certainly fits that bill. And having been spoiled by the functionality of the Magic Mouse I was looking for something that I could program. This meets that and more. The options are limitless. You just need to figure out what you do the most of and program those. In all I have 9 different functions programmed into the mouse. A great mouse if you are looking for ergonomics and functionality.

I first bought the Apple Magic Mouse. It was not at all what I expected. I'm sure it is a good mouse, but not worth nearly $75 dollars. Part of the magic is that it doesn't have a roller for scrolling... it uses your finger across the top of the mouse instead. I prefer the roller. I set the Apple Magic Mouse at the fastest speed, and it was still too slow. I had to move the mouse across the entire pad to get the curser to move a few inches. The MS Surface Mouse performs great, feels comfortable in the hand, and at a good speed.

I've used track balls, wired and wireless mouses. The Apple Magic Mouse is bluetooth, which is quite nice! It's like a mouse and trackpad combined, which has been quite pleasant to use. My only issue is sometimes I end up flying across an Excel spreadsheet with a slight finger twitch. Still severe muscle memory using older devices. Other than that, I really like this magic mouse!

I was not sure what to think of the mouse till I got it. Overall I felt like this was a pretty decent mouse. It had the features I wanted out of the box, mainly a three button mouse with the middle button acting as an middle click and it is ergonomic. Pros: - Wired (con for some), so I do not need to worry about batteries - Middle button acts as an middle click on linux - It looks like they changed this at some point Cons: - My pinky feels just a little cramped, but then I did not think about size when I bought this.

I was looking for a 3 button mouse so that I would have access to an actual middle button. I use the middle mouse button a lot. 3 button mice are nearly non-existent, so I was excited when I found this one. Using a scroll wheel press for the middle button does not always work well. This mouse solves that problem with an actual middle button, and it works without special drivers. The mouse buttons can be programmed with the Evoluent software, but I am using it with a work computer that does not allow installation of any software other than a limited set of approved software, so it was important to me to work without special drivers. I also wanted to try a vertical mouse, and after a week of use, am very happy with it. My hand and wrist are feeling better using this mouse. There is a learning curve switching to the vertical mouse, but it was not that difficult.

This mouse fit perfect in my hand and is super comfortable to use for long periods. Has smooth middle wheel and also with the middle button you can customize with different command. Also have three button, it's feel weird in the very beginning but then you get used to it, and you can assign and you can programming the extra third button. Another thing it's really good in this mouse is the zoom, it's fluid and smoth. You can feel that was think and designed to be really useful for AutoCAD, Fusion, 3ds Max and Revit. I recommend this mouse for 3D user. When you use, you will feel that you always used a wrong mouse before. The comparison this mouse with an enthusiast mouse is if you compares a KIA with a Audi as to comfort and performance, that's it.

This is far superior to the Apple Magic Mouse. Although it is larger it has great connectivity, is customizable, has great tactile feel and actual buttons. Color is complimentary too the MAC desktop.
