Does Bluetooth Wireless Headset Work On Xbox One

Was gifted a Poly wireless headset. But needed the Bluetooth adapter for it to work with my work computer. I had to disable the computer Bluetooth but after that this little adapter can reach around my whole house. I have even answered calls from my kitchen while cooking lunch. Bought the headset about a month ago, needed a replacement for my JBL Quantum 200's. Overall the product is top tier, the sound quality is crisp, clean, and (often times) very loud. Pros: - Long battery life (while wireless), in my experience it gets a solid 30-32 hours whilst connected to the included dongle, and right around 43 hours with Bluetooth only. The headset can be connected via Bluetooth AND the dongle at the same time. Note; I do have the RGB function disabled on my headset, which extends the battery life by a *ton*. - Good range on the wireless connection, both Bluetooth and dongle. - Capability to be wired with USB-C (console), or 3.5mm jack going into a headphone/mic splitter (PC) - Amazing mic quality *while connect via wires*. Honestly the mic's balance and quality is on par with some dedicated desk/boom mic's that I've had in the past. - Very comfy fit, I can easily wear them for 5-6 hours straight with no issues. Very little wiggle on my head, even when vigorously shaking or bobbing my head. - Active noise cancelling is so good that it's almost disorienting. Being able to hear most of the environment around you just vanish really is a harrowing and alien experience after never having used it before. The noise cancelling is togglable from a button on the left earphone. There is also a Talk through function, for when you need to hear everything around you or carry on a conversation. - Audio has next to zero delay whilst wireless. I've played quite a few CS:GO and Valorant games, relying almost entirely upon audio cues/footsteps. Not once did I notice any delay that ever affected gameplay. Con(s): - Uhm... Mic quality whilst wireless decreases substantially? Less of a con, more of a side effect to ANY wireless connection. Over all; If I could give this headset a 6/5 stars, I would. It really is one of the most versatile pieces of tech that I own.

I was hesitated for this headset for quite a while. It is mostly due to the high price around 90+. B&H had it for $ and I had no second thought and grabbed it. The PC dongle works great as your audio device stay online whether you have the headset set to USB or not. This won't confuse the PC as applications tend to bind it to an audio device and get confused when you disconnect devices. Bind a bluetooth headset to PC and you know what I mean. I use the bluetooth mode for my cell phone only. Switching works flawlessly with a toggle on the headset. The boom mic also falls into one of my strict criteria as I found most of the wireless bluetooth headset without boom mic struggle to deliver clear voice. This one will not let anyone to notice you on wireless. I have it working with all my VOIP app, including my company Cisco VOIP app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connections are solid either you use bluetooth or wireless, not much difference noted since bluetooth is 5.2. Just wish the driver will be crispier but for 40mm driver, soundstage overall is adequate. Detachable microphone is a plus. Battery lasts for a good week with everyday 3 hours of continous using. Surround sound is ok not wow compare to other available headset on the market. Seemless connection with computer, xbox and even with phones. No connectivity issues. Good gaming headset you can get for the money.

I'm using this mostly as a phone headset with a Fiio bluetooth adapter, for work teleconferences, but I also use it to listen to tunes. It works far better than it should for music, and it's comfortable. Very nice.

For 2 years, I have been using the Jabra Evolve 65 headset that pairs to a PC via bluetooth adapter. While the audio quality is excellent with the Evolve 65, when speaking on my corporate VoIP UC application, my range was limited to bluetooth ranges. The audio quality drops off sharply within 20 feet, and does not penetrate my household walls, doors, glass windows, etc. I could not comfortably walk into the kitchen or restrooms with the bluetooth transmission ranges. When I purchased this new headset, all of my range limitations went away! The DECT wireless allows me to go anywhere in my house, or even outside to the mailbox without interrupting the audio quality of my work. I work from home full-time, and the Engage 75 is the first headset that keeps me working and audible anywhere I wander around my home.

As a supervisor of a Police Motorcycle unit, I was searching for a Bluetooth devise I could utilize in conjunction with my radio headset & these OpenMove work great!! They have survived several heavy thunderstorms & full 8 hour shifts without a single hiccup. I even had to dismount & had to engage in a short 30 yard foot pursuit without these moving & continued to work without any problems!! (Six months prior- I lost one of my $$$ earbuds in a foot chase!!) They are so comfortable and don't ever hurt your ears like other buds can after periods of extended use. They don't leave your ears ringing if you've got them too loud for a little while. I executed a lengthy search for the correct Bluetooth headset/earbuds to hold up to the vibration of a Harley Davidson & wearing for a complete shift comfortably & able to hold up to the rigorous atmosphere of everyday outdoor weather!!! this works to connect my PC with bluetooth headset

I have several of these wireless AKG Perception units (handheld, lapel and headset versions) and they all work superbly for my different needs. This is the first I have purchased from B&H and it is just like my others. B&H shipped the item very promptly and everything was as expected.
