This is a warranty exchange from its predecessor with the micro USB charge port and it's definitely brighter and charges faster. The only downside I noticed was the switch. It is recessed and can be problematic to turn on and off. Also it gets hot while on high, don't know if it's normal but will be checking into this. Otherwise it's good. 5 |

This USB 3.0 Type A Male to Micro Type B Cable - 15' by Pearstone is just what I needed. There were only a couple of other brands on the market with the length that was needed at triple the cost. At first, B & H indicated they not did have the item but a few minuets later I received a link directing me to the product - this was a direct result of the agent conducting research of a product long after the conversation had ended. That was great as I really needed this piece of equipment for the type shooting that I do. Thank you B & H, and I will continue to order from you as I greatly appreciate how you do business. I have multiple USB 3.0 backup drives, all use the Micro-B connector. The new MacBook needs USB-C, so these fit the bill, and seem well-built. I ran a complete Time Machine restore to setup a new MacBook pro with this cable. 5 |
