DOES EXACTLY WHAT I NEED IT TO DO.

Does the job just fine. Need to have one. This is a good value.

Does exactly what I needed. Need to get camera up high to shoot over fence or crowd. This allows me to use a lateral arm as a center column extension.

I needed to connect an outdoor wireless security camera to Wifi but the signal on the main router wasn't strong enough to penetrate a thick masonry wall. The TP-link solved this problem. I set it up inside at the wall needing signal penetration but in line with the router. It worked perfectly - having a booster closer to the camera did the trick.

After using the Synology Router for two days I realized something... Synology's strategy for making a router is simple.. instead of making 19 different routers like Netgear or ASUS with often overlapping features, making you wonder which one to buy they decided on a simple strategy: Make ONE router and make it be VERY good. And they deliverer with their product. I get WiFi transfer speeds of up to 600Mbit/s on a 1G Ethernet service line. The router also has adaptive security management that can monitor and block any suspicious traffic from NAT STUN to privilege escalations to pretty much any hack you can think of and those security databases are updated regularly so you always have the latest security scan updates. You can combine this with the MR2200ac mesh router and have whole-home network coverage. Synology absolutely created a Ferrari of a router at a Chevy price point.

The Synology RT2600AC was well reviewed on SmallNetBuilder. Already having a positive experience with Synology NAS I decided to give this relative newcomer to routers a chance to replace a failing ASUS RT-N66U. The Synology router has been running for two weeks with 24 clients, mostly Internet access and some HD (but not 4K) streaming. Positives: - Wi-fi range and throughput are beyond satisfactory. Router is on lower level in one corner of house. Two stories above on the opposite corner the signal strength and throughput is excellent, despite having to travel through multiple walls, HVAC system, plumbing and a dozen electrical circuits. - 2.4-to-5Ghz switching has been seamless. Router does a good job transferring connections to the optimal band. - Even with the Intrusion Detection turned on, there are no network performance issues (as others have reported). - If you are familiar with Synology DSM for their NAS line, the router SRM is easy to navigate, update and install packages. - Good visual reporting. Easy to determine which clients and what software is consuming most/least bandwidth. - Router software and settings are security focused. Accounts disabled by default. Easy to lock down individual clients. Good logging. Includes a basic Intrusion Detection service (which takes the place of a separate hardware/service typically needed). Easy to setup alerts. Synology appears to be taking patching seriously, with a set of updates each of the past few months. Built-in security check to advise of settings that are not optimal for security. - While not the least expensive wireless router out there, the value is solid for the performance and feature set. Cons: - Need USB thumb drive for logging; maximum 2GB of logs. - SRM is still maturing. The GUI is inconsistent, sometimes allowing sorting or editing, other time not-- for the same fields. Takes a longer time to restart than other systems. Nothing bug, but a few edges do need polishing.

We built a new home two months ago and made Ring our security systems. It is so easy to use through out phones. We love to be able to check our door bell camera and back yard security camera when we are away. We live in a fairly seclude area now and the cameras and overall security the system offers us is very reasurring.

I use these to tighten my Schneider variable ND filter to the step down ring and then to my camera for added security. Works great won't damage your filters or adapters like a wrench will.
