most, if not all, new laptops don't come with a dvd drive anymore so you're on your own if you need to view media on discs. this portable dvdrw drive from asus is extremely lightweight and about the size/dimensions of a music cd case, so you can easily fit it inside any backpack or computer case. regarding the functionality, i've been using it for over a month now and it hasn't had a single issue. easy to setup with the included wire and can be up and running within a minute or two. i'd highly recommend this drive, especially at this sub-$30 price point

Not many laptops come with an RJ45 Ethernet connection anymore. I don't know it's faster than wifi, but it's definitely not slower. Enabled me to use my CAT6a cable to go directly to my router. Just plugged it in my Windows 10 laptop, and it works great.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Make sure you don't cross thread it and it will work great!

I got this just before my trip to a conference in California and I didn't want to use a Bluetooth anymore. I tried it with my Samsung and it works very well. I only had 1 problem only where I could hear some cracking noises but the problem has gone away. I tested it as well with my kids Ipads and there was no problem. I wanted something to protect my Samsung Flex while traveling and this was case was described perfectly for the laptops size and shape. When it arrived I was very pleased with the construction and materials that this case was made of. It's a touch bigger than my 13.3 inch laptop so it has enough room to store the power supply and cord as well. Well padded and it traveled well on it first trip without a problem and the laptop was protected nicely!

The PRO is more durable than the EVO series, and priced accordingly. PRO is for heavy use. Leave 5~10% of the disk as raw/unallocated for automatic wear leveling.

Does what I need it to do. Again, had to order from B&H Photo. Seems they are the only ones who carry in stock merchandise anymore. Most other have a long wait period.

I got the 16gb ram and 512gb storage upgrade and this is easily one of the best laptops I have ever owned. Does everything quickly, seamlessly, and quietly. The new design and color is great and the portability and battery life is just incredible. B&H delivered it very quickly and without any issue. All in all this laptop is worth the buy.
