Does Samsung Monitor Ports Act As Ub

I was looking to purchase the Samsung Odyssey 49 monitor, when its price went up just as I was about to buy it. So, I switched to this ASUS ROG monitor, which, at that time was around $300 less expensive. This turned out to be a very good decision for a number of reasons: - I use this plugged in to my work computer, which does not require the monitor to be bleeding edge. This perfectly checks the box - it gives me everything I need and more, and doesn't come with a hefty price tag associated with features I would never require. - This has a curvature of 1800R, unlike the Samsung, which has a curvature of 1000R. This means that it is less curved, which is optimal for me as I tend to have the monitor at a 3-3.5 ft. distance from my eyes. A monitor too curved would cause me challenges at the edges at such a distance. - This has a USB-C port with PD, which greatly simplified the wiring on my desk. I am able to connect my laptop directly to this port and have the rest of the ports on the monitor connect to other accessories like speakers, keyboards, an ethernet cable etc. I was able to swap out a dock as a result of this. - While I don't use them, there are also ports for HDMI and DisplayPort, which would support PBP/PIP. If I were to list any negatives, these would be a couple: - There are only 3 USB ports, and I need to connect 5 devices. This is a minor inconvenience, and I got around this by simply plugging a hub to one of the USB ports. - The placement of the ports is quite inconvenient. Having the ports face downwards in the middle of the back panel poses quite a few challenges while trying to set up the wiring. That being said, it is an activity you only have to do once. All in all, this is a fantastic purchase.

Does everything you want and more. Only wish it hand more ports on the other side.

Does a very nice job enrichening the colors. The main advantage is to act a a protector for the lens. Very easy to lose the lens covers that come with the lenses. A cheap filter protects the lens while leaving it ready for a quick shot. Makes very nice pictures from the 18mm-50mm lens that comes with the Sony Alpha600.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do and even indicates which split cable should have the headphone plugged in and which one should act as the output. Basically an idiot proof product.

Does exactly what it advertises. This umbrella isn't too harsh with the light it casts and can even be turned backwards to act as a fill light or makeshift softbox. The construction is good and won't fall apart anytime soon. I use it for portraits in studio and on location at weddings.

Works well and means I can now use my 503_ub on the ronin s much easier.

Simple to mount. Good addition to the 703 UB.

I needed a simple monitor to act as a second monitor to a laptop and this was such a great choice. It did not need extra cables because it already came with an HDMI which was exactly what I needed for the laptop. It's stable and I love adjustable height so I can get it just right for where my eyesight naturally lands. But my favorite part is that B&H is prompt and has the best prices. Shipping was perfect and I couldn't be happier. Thank you B&H.
