Does Studio Monitor Size Matter

I use this in my podcasting studio, so color and other factors that may be important for some applications don't matter. This is a great value and just the right size to be highly visible but not take up too much space in a tight, one person studio. Lot's of connectivity and power options. Really great.

I like and trust Apple Displays for their beautiful image and color accuracy. I retouch photographs and color grade videos and films. The Apple monitor is accurate and bright with great resolution. It's a good size and small footprint on my desk. I purchased it with the new Mac Studio. It works well with the new computer. I purchased the Apple 27 Studio display with just the tilt option and it works fine. It sits nicely above the Mac Studio computer. The stand doesn't take up much desk space. There is no power switch for the monitor. As soon as you turn on the computer it is on and ready for viewing. I also like that there is no sleep light to keep flashing when the monitor is off or sleeping. The bezel around the viewable screen is a reasonable size and smaller than my other LG monitor. The Apple Display is easy to setup. Just plug it in and plug in the included Thunderbolt cable to the computer. Both cables are a soft and flexible black cable. I think the price is reasonable for the Apple Studio Display. My first Apple Display was the HD 24 version and cost around $1899 to $2199. Many years later the 5K 27 version is less money than that. I think that's a good deal. And much more affordable than the 32 XDR 6K monitor. I'm very pleased with the Apple Studio Display, as it just works well and looks great.

The monitor was incredibly easy to set up with my Mac Studio, the colors are outstanding, the size is perfect, and the stand is awesome. Great monitor for the price.

If you need a focus pulling monitor, this is it. I have used it on location and in studio and it's great for both. Surprisingly light for its size, and super sharp especially with a couple points of focus peaking. Adding on accessories, case, etc racks up the price but it is well worth it. Much easier to see than a 703, especially when working with large format, WFO. All the pros use this and laud it - Greg Irwin said it was instrumental in keeping Joker sharp. That's the review that matters!

Does what you need it to do. Just make sure to get the right size conduit.

Does a great job of softening the flash. No matter where you are you have a bounce. Considering the price I'd rather have one then be without.
