Does Ultra Wide Monitors Actually Lower Frame Rate

I was looking for a new work from home monitor, but also one I can hook my PS5 up. After looking at a lot of ultra wide monitors, I realized most ran in 60Hz, which wasn't going to work for me, and I stumbled across this one. I absolutely love the amount of space it gives me for work, and the display for my gaming is great!! I've had zero issues with it, and have even suggested to a few others to look into it. For the price, it's a steal for a terrific piece of hardware to work and to game.

From 3 27 inch monitors to one Ultra wide 40 inch and a vertical LG 27 inch. The amount of screen space takes a little getting used to. From 2560x1440 to 5120x2160 is a big taking getting used to, but the amount of work and play screen space is incomparable. Although the letters and menus are a bit smaller, bringing up the screen to 25 inch from the eyes surely manages the problem. Bought my Mac Studio and this LG ultra wide from B&H, rapid, secure, transfer of hardware, no weeks waiting for it like other sites. Will be buying again!!!!

This lens is easy to use and delivers stunning Super Ultra Wide Shots. I'm a pro real estate photographer and a lens like this is an advantage in many ways. First it's actually easier to frame with at 11mm than my 2.8 16-35 L. Second, it allows me to be very creative with shots that you can't accomplish with a 16mm lens. Third, it focus's quickly and accuratly and has surprisingly little chromatic aberration from hot contrast spots like windows against a window frame with bright light coming thru. Fourth, I love how stable it feels in your hands because of it's size and weight. For me, it's a home run.

Moved from a 60D up to a 5D Mark III and needed a full frame ultra-wide to go with it, Small investment with big returns. It took several shots to begin getting comfortable with it, but it is very sharp and crazy wide. Seems well built so far.

A fast, sharp, ultra-wide, well built, full frame lens for less than 600 bucks? Oh and very well controlled distortion and CA? Yeah, I'll take it. Are there better options out there? Probably, but I won't use them, because I won't buy them, because I don't want to pay those prices. If you're in the market and don't want spend a fortune, do it.

I bought this to use on my Nikon D7000 as an ultra wide angle and later on full frame as a fisheye. This works very well on the D7000 with full metering and automatic aperture stop down. Much to my surprise , with a wide open aperture there is almost no discernable vignetting. The image sharpness in the corners is also fairly good.

I believe the Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 to be best choice in an ultra-wide lens for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras.

I am upgrading to a full frame camera body and want to have ultra wide angle zoom lens. After doing research for a while, everything points to the 16-35 f/2.8L II. After receiving the lens from B&H just for a week, man! this lens is just amazing. The color, the focus speed and the build quality are all top notch. I am very happy with it even though it is pricey. Hey, you got what you paid for!

Love this ultra-wide angle, fast lens on my full-frame camera. Takes great Milky Way shots.
