Does Windows 8.1 Support Dual Touch Screen Monitors
anyonymous | 2024-05-03 06:49:29 |
I have a MacBook Pro dual-booted with OS 10.9 and Windows 8.1 Update 1. This adapter works on both, without any issues. The manufacturer has the latest drivers available on their website. 5 |

Works ok load the software. If you have windows 8.1 go the pinnacle support go dazzle for 8.1 & reinstall the software after that works fine 5 |

I use windows 8.1 quite often. On this mac, all drives (except the internal flash drive) are external. Windows runs great off Thunderbolt connected drives. You can have multiple window drives and select the one you want on boot by holding down the option key. 5 |

I would recommend this to anyone with dual monitors and two pc’s. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 kept adjusting the displays when I switched between computers. It was a real annoyance to find all my windows, icons and screen resolutions messed up every time I switched. I finally after about a week of annoyances found a setting in my catalyst control center to disable display polling which fixed the problem for me. 5 |

Running on a new MacBook Pro 13" and Dual Dell Monitors with Certified HDMI cables and its flawless... the only rub is if you are running certain MacOS ... but found that very detailed support document and fixed it in less than 5 minutes... Very slick Tech support... Thanks dudes! 5 |

First of all- Touch screen(!) Let me just tap here and there and setup everything in one minute... Support up to 12 channels- are you kidding me? I can record an orchestra with this. Locked 6 XLRs, high quality 24bit files, quick menu and also very intuitive (maybe it’s because I’m not a pro sound man..) Supports the new microphones from zoom. BT device disappointed because it’s support just to turn on/off audio tracks and start/stop recording.. the levels was so complicated for you control from the app? (Maybe update in the future so that..) The spider looks at first was a little strange and threatening, but after a few days you found this alien very useful. Just plug your cable wherever it comes from (left/right/up/down..) Every plug support 48v phantom power. After all of this (I’ll be fine if my finger once in 10years will sweat..that’s one of the reasons I comes to shooting day with clothes..) Who are those people who sweating in the fingers anyway?!) Zoom H6.. it was very nice to meet you. Mr. H8...Welcome Aboard! ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE MONEY! 5 |

Ipod touch is the first Apple product I've owned. The quality of the support people is far above the Windows product representatives I've had the displeasure to try to work with. Consumer Reports say the extended warranty on Apple products, which includes support, is worth the cost. I agree. 5 |

We recently upgraded all the workstations to new i7 based desktops that support dual monitors running Windows 7. We reused the original analog flat screens along with new DVI based wide screens. the adapters let us connect the old analog monitors to the Y cable supplied with the desktops to create a dual screen environment. 5 |

This is an internal drive, plain and simple. Starts up fast, extra thin (half the thickness of a normal 3.5 drive), runs cool (thinness allows for more heat dissapation). But... I had bought this to put in an external USB 3.0 enclosure to use with my Dell XPS 8700 which has Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, after hooking it up, it would perpetually disconnect itself during file transfers, especially with files upwards of 1gb. Thinking the drive was defective, I took the internal drive of my Dell, which was the same brand, model and capacity, and put that into the enclosure. Same disconnects occurred. Then I replaced the cable between the drive and computer with a USB 2.0 cable, and the disconnects stopped, although file transfers took 10x longer. This proved that the drives were fine, but they did not work in a USB 3.0 enclosure. I could live with that, until... After a week or so, my computer developed the same symptoms (constant disconnects) for other USB storage devices. Since it was USB 3.0, I blamed the USB 3.0 drivers which Windows 8.1 seems to have implemented so poorly. BUT THEN I STARTED GETTING READ ERRORS ON MY SYTEM DRIVE. I could not back up files without drives disconnecting every few seconds. In short, THIS HAD SCREWED UP MY OPERATING SYSTEM. After a complete reinstall of Windows, everything was back to normal and all my drives (except the Barracuda in external enclosure) could read and write properly. The next day I bought a WD Black and put that in the enclosure... BOOM ... 100gb of files transferred seamlessly. So, to summarize... DO NOT PUT THIS DRIVE IN A USB 3.0 ENCLOSURE OR IT WILL WRECK THE WINDOWS 8.1 OPERATING SYSTEM. 1 month of my life wasted, I can't return the drive since it isn't actually defective, thought I'd at least write about my experience. 5 |

Use it for Windows 8 on old laptop and desktops. It has the same function on touch pad instead of screen. Allow touch screen functions away from computer when you lean back on couch. Nothing negative for comment. Great price! Would like to have backlite keyboard with solar panel. 5 |
