Dolby Atmos Receiver Wireless Speakers

Love this receiver so far! Dolby Atmos sounds great! easy to set up. easy to use

I bought this device to get more out of my 4K Blu-ray disks on my Sony TV and Dolby Atmos receiver. The Dolby Atmos and picture has improved from my PS5 as a play back device. The only issues I have is that sometime the Sony Bravia TV decides to switch the sound to the EARC channel from the dedicated HDMI sound connection channel. When it does I need to change the Denon Reciver back to the correct sound input. It would also be nice to install Disney+, Vudu, and movies Anywhere to the players options. The images and sound from Netflix and my Blu-rays are great. I setup 13 speakers in a 7.2.4 on my receiver. I had to do a pre-amp out for two of the channels.

There are 11 speakers built into the bar, and another 2 upward firing speakers to bounce sound off of the ceiling. A 6 inch downward firing, ported subwoofer powers the rear surround speakers. This system is designed to play Dolby Atmos and DTS:X encoded audio. This all adds up to movie theater experience that is amazing. The only drawback is that most TV programming is not in Dolby Atmos audio. However, using the handheld remote, you can select from EQ presets to maximize whatever sound source is driving it. We like to use the Direct EQ to enhance the clarity of dialogue. Hook up your Bluetooth mobile device and pump out your favorite tunes using the Music EQ and you'll hear crystal clear music. My dilemma is I have a 1 year old theater amp and a 5.1 speaker system that I don't know what to do with... BTW, I debuted this Vizio M-Series 5.1.2 with the movie 6 Underground. That was a good choice to pump sound through all the speakers and fire off the subwoofer.

We own several VIZIO products and have grown with the brand for many years. With each new unit, we're more impressed than the time before. Not only for the quality of the product itself, but the small details that go into the getting the unit up and running. The M512a-H6 sound bar with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X is the latest example. First, I want to point out the sound bar is more than just a bar. It's actually a bar, a subwoofer and two satellite speakers. But even the bar itself is more than just a bar as it includes upward facing speakers in addition to the traditional forward facing feature. This unit includes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. We hadn't even noticed before that Netflix (and probably others) already support this more immersive sound experience. Technology will continue to improve with each new unit so it's no surprise that it's a step up from the sound system built into a television or even an existing sound bar. But what makes VIZIO products shine is that setup isn't difficult. Units are packaged with cabling labeled to reduce confusion and there are also removable pull-strips over the ports on the sound bar itself. You don't have to have an advanced tech degree to be able to set up this VIZIO sound system. If you're wondering how it sounded... it filled the room well for a captivating viewing (and listening) experience!

Pros: As of today, they are the best speakers you can get for surrounds with Dolby Atmos in the Sonos realm. With a Sub and Arc, you can't get a much better system. They are worth the money. Cons: None.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG SN11RG Sound bar is sure easy to setup. Just plug power and setup Wifi using Google Assistant App and everything (Wireless Sub woofer, Rear speakers) connects and works seamlessly. So far have watched movies like "Mad Max: Fury Road", "Spiderman - Far from Home", "Black Panther", in Dolby Atmos, and I wold said I am very pleased!! Surround sound works great, but Dolby Atmos takes to the whole new level. I have watched "Mad Max: Fury Road" earlier in normal TV speakers, but with this Soundbar, and Dolby Atmos, made the experience so engrossing. Kudos to LG team!!

Because any quality speaker can be used for Dolby Atmos sound I decided to reallocate a pair of Pioneer quality bookshelf speakers to operate as Dolby Atmos speakers each sitting atop a High Quality tower speaker in order to fire upward into the vaulted ceiling. It was clear the support firing angle of the Kanto S4 desktop stand met the requirement . These are study metal stands and excel at providing the support angle required to allow a speaker to assume an Atmos ceiling firing angle. If Kanto's reads this review they should suggest this function as a use as well

I purchased these upfiring speakers after reading about Dolby Atmos sound. Wow! Instead of listening to 5.1 surround coming from my left, right, center front speakers and left, right rear speakers and my subwoofer, it now sounds as though I'm in a geodesic dome of speakers with sound coming from everywhere around and above me. Dialogue is clearer and music envelopes me, while the sound effects of the movies happen in a real-world environment. These Dolby-enabled speakers unleashed my tuner's Atmos capabilities. It's quite remarkable.

Stereo sounds better with a pair of these speakers as the sound is fuller and wider, but where these speakers shine is with Dolby Atmos/surround sound. It's just amazing. On a good music mix and movie/tv show in Atmos, the sound is wonderful - it's what I've been dreaming of since I was a teen (30 years ago - eek!) Listening to old albums remixed in Atmos is a sonic rediscovery of old friends, Pink Floyd and the Beatles Atmos mixes are incredible (really looking forward to ELO & Supertramp remixed in Dolby Atmos). I've got an Arc, sub and 2 Era 300's in our lounge room and my own bedroom - totally worth it.

I bought two pairs of these, one for the main L & R, and one for the rear surround L & R. Obviously, this setup also provided me with font and rear L & R Dolby Atmos. These speakers sounded so good that my wife commented on how realistic everything (especially musical instruments) sounded. I'm a professional soundman, so it wasn't like she was hearing good equipment for the first time. Here's the rub. We have thirteen foot high ceilings, so the "bounce" from the Dolby Atmos up-firing speakers was pretty weak. If you have normal height ceilings, this shouldn't be a problem.
