Dollar Store Surge Protectors Dangers

Have used the APC brand of surge protectors for many years and have always been satisfied with them.

Wow...quality, a great price, and actually in stock! This was just what I was looking for. I've been using consumer surge protectors with my DJ set up for years. I've debated upgrading to a more professional grade power supply for some time now, and I finally pulled the trigger. I'm glad I did too. The 15 foot wall plug is just perfect. I no longer have to add an extension cable to the end on my surge, having it all integrated. And the metal casing is solid and made of very durable materials. I just don't know why I didn't make this purchase sooner.

These single outlet surge protectors are great for peace of mind to know you did the right thing for your equipment.

this thing is one of the best surge protectors I have ever used. The cord is 15' long which is great if you have a outlet in that range so you don't need any additional cords

APC still makes really nice surge protectors. The lights on this one are a nice green when it's working properly, and they're not too bright. Upload This surge protector feels a bit longer than others, it seems to have plenty of room to fit all of my power cords.

This is a far better solution than stringing several surge protectors in a line. A couple of our buildings don't have outlets every three feet; we needed the reach between outlets to plug everything in. This surge protector keeps our equipment protected without having to drag an extension cord first or having to link several surge protectors.
