Doorbell Camera Compatible With Synology

I use it with Synology DS 423+ and it works well and is compatible.

Like the doorbell. Sad Lorex cannot provide a compatible chime to go with it!! Poor engineering and planning.

Solid drive, works well, High Price but it is most compatible when using Synology NAS units.

This cart have very specific requirements for the supported SSDs. I'd recommend to use ONLY one of the SSDs listed in the Synology website. I thought it would be compatible with any M2 SSD with form factor 2280 but it isn't. It took me three roundtrips to B&H to get it right. This is the recommended disk for your NAS storage device as it is designed for constant use. This is compatible for use in a Synology NAS while not all SATA disks are on their capability list.

Amazing value for your money! This is the Ironwolf Pro and works great in my synology. The Ironwolf are a compatible drive, however, my model (ST16000NT001) is not and still works fine. The 5 year warranty is a huge plus as you can find other manufacturer drives a few dollars less with a much smaller warranty. Shipped in nondescript packaging and nicely secured to avoid damage.

Everyone is aware that a large number of drives are compatible with the Synology NAS devices, but the main reason I bought the Synology drives is that they allowed firmware updates without removing them and mounting them in an external computer for update. During the startup of my new NAS there was indeed a firmware update installed on the drives. The performance specs are enterprise grade. All information I have seen says that the drives were made by Toshiba and the firmware customized by Synology. I was surprised to see a WD logo on the inside of the shippers that all four of my drives arrived in.

These disks have always worked well for me I use them in all my Synology Stations, Easy to swap out when necessary. They are 100% compatible with Synology Disk Stations and that's why I use them. Remember for Raid you want fast Drives 7500RPM works well.

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.
