Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

I had to upgrade my UAP-AC-M I have it outside to communicate with my gate camera about 150' away. I was disappointed that the stock antennas don't reach that far. Part of the problem is my camera only has an internal antenna. This was able to get it a nice boost and don't seem to have any issues connecting now.

I've used this bag all over the world for various projects and trips. I've never had to gate check or been unable to stow my cameras and lens gear in the main cabin with the 26L. Whether medium format or 35mm full-frame, all my essential cameras and lenses for any given project manage to fit in this bag. It's light and comfortable enough to carry all day on site or through complex travel segments. Over the years I've chopped up and re-taped the separators many times for various camera/lens configurations, so I'm about to replace the bag. I've had many camera packs, some of which I liked very much, but none as useful or long-lived as this one.

Made this my official first Lectro Receiver! Right out the gate, out of all Lectro interfaces i've interacted with this is one of the nicest ones I've used! Just having the buttons alone makes it a breeze instead of having to push into the usual press-in controls that we're used to on previous Lectro devices. The menu is fantastic and versatile as well! As far as I have been able to use it in the field it seems to get me pretty dang good results as far as distance and quality goes (paired with the DBu and DBSMD). Not to mention the option to record onto the receiver! As soon as I got to use this I was in a situation where I had to attach it to a camera since no one else but camera was allowed in the building following an NFL player. Worked like a charm.

This bag is the perfect size if your travel will take you on smaller regional flights. I never had any trouble getting it in the overhead bin, nor did the gate personnel try at any time to get me to gate-check the bag. The side and top handles were VERY handy for getting it in and out of the overhead bins and the separate laptop section made it very quick and convenient to get the computer out at security. I carried a Canon 50D, 70-200mm f2.8, several smaller lenses, a flash, a Netbook and various miscellaneous pieces of camera gear. As a carry-on, this bag really shines. However, working out of the bag is a little awkward. In order to get to any of the camera gear, the entire top must be unzipped and laid back. Not fatal, just not real efficient. The backpack straps are well padded, but the bag is definitely a carry-on first and a backpack second. But, it will get your gear to your destination in great shape and still be a reasonable camera backpack while you are there. Once you figure it out, it's great. Initially, the R6 wouldn't power up at all. Dead. I checked the user feedback on B&H and one person said it wasn't compatible with R6, not a good sign. After fiddling with it for a while, looking at the connectors inside the battery, trying to wiggle it, nothing worked. I was beginning to think that it might have been a defective unit or it might not work in R6, so I contacted B&H tech support who confirmed it was compatible with R6 and offered a video chat to diagnose the problem. As I was about to call them the next day, I took an actual battery to compare the fit, one-to-one. As I took out the coupler and inserted the battery, exactly the same way, leaving the gate open, the R6 was dead with the battery too. Three things immediately went through my head: (1) The gate must be connected to a sensor so the camera won't power up if it's open, (2) There must be some sort of a gap for the cable of the OEM adapter that allows it to go out of the camera with the gate closed, (3) This is really embarrassing and I'm an idiot. Sure enough, there is a covered slot for the cable, something I've never noticed before. The way I saw it was by following the cable routing guide on the coupler. After opening it, the cable fit perfectly, the gate closed easily and the camera worked flawlessly. DOH!! This is where instructions would've been extremely useful (none came with the coupler), even if I know there is a good chance I wouldn't have read them anyways. It's been now powering the R6 for almost two weeks, taking photos every 3 minutes of a monstera plant, without having to fiddle with the batteries and risk them running out at random times when I'm not at home. This is a reliable and extremely useful piece of equipment for time lapse in the home or for studio work. Great product.
