Doorbell Camera Sandy

I have just used the MeFoto GlobeTrotter Aluminum Tripod for a sandy beach trip and hiking woods photo shoot. I have a Canon 5D Mark iii and often use a Canon F2.8 70-200mm for my planned shots. My previous lesser quality carbon tripod actually broke using this camera set up on a time lapsed 1 hour shot with remote. I shopped, read many reviews, and decided on the MeFoto GlobeTrotter because I was concerned about high end equipment on a stable, yet easy to carry tripod. The dimensions of this tripod are short and compact, it packs very well. You can pay $150 more and save about 1 - 1 1/2 pounds in carbon models. I really like the sturdiness of the GlobeTrotter and not sure I would chose a lighter model with this same Canon equipment. The photo results are fantastic as hoped for. The set up is a breeze, easy and quick. I also like GlobeTrotter's ability to firmly hold a heavy camera 1 foot off the ground for that special low angle desired shot. (Pros): Compact, great for travel, packs well, multiple set ups: high and low, nice color choices, looks smart, able to hold the weight of high end SLR camera and 70-200 mm lens, nice carry case, great comparative price (Cons): 1-1 1/2 pounds heavier than more expensive tripods (weighs under 5 lbs though), recommend sheet or towel when setting up on sandy beach, not sure any tripod is safe on sand.

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

This particular doorbell camera has a great lens and very easy to install.

Great Quality, and a much nicer experience to use as opposed to the sandy alternative.

Good protection for lens. Out on the beach with sandy conditions.

I just moved to a new home and installed the Circle View to work with my Apple Home and it has been the best of them all so far! Easy to install, clear picture, and I really like how it streams and saves.

I used the launch pad in windy and sandy conditions and the pad was stable and kept my drone clean from debris.

Used for wetter situations where spikes are a must have on sandy, wet surfaces! These fit perfectly to the MT190CXPRO4 Carbon Fiber Tripod I bought recently, I have this type of spike on my 055 tripod as well, different model than these since the leg diameter is larger but they work great also! Can't imagine not having spikes when I need them! ... Easily screw the rubber foot down to cover the spike! A win win! ...
