Doorbell Camera System Reviews

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a camera doorbell system you cant go wrong with this one! It's super easy to install and operate and best of all no hard wiring needed. The motion detector camera works flawlessly and I love getting the alerts directly to my phone. The video is crisp, clear and you can interact with the person on the other side. The battery life is also super long and the battery is rechargeable. 5 |

We are very satisfied with the new doorbell camera. Of course, it’s only been in use for a week but is working very well with the Home Security System, as well as, the mobile app. 5 |

I purchased this doorbell to go with my Fusion system, it works well, I had very little problems installing it. The system works great together. 5 |

After reading reviews and doing some research, I decided to buy the Nest Hello video doorbell . I was pleasantly surprised to see that the installation and setup was easy and quick. I integrated it with my Google Hub device and very happy with it. I'm hoping that Google has a standalone version that I can install at my other entrance at home (no existing doorbell at this location). 5 |

I'm a die hard Panasonic fan however other B&H reviews of this camera piqued my interest enough to buy one. After using it I've purchased a total of three. What many former reviewers have said about the menu system is true. This is a very easy and intuitive menu system. The images are fantastic and even in Apple ProRes video mode, the dynamic range is so great you must see it to believe it. I still find myself wanting to color grade the footage with very little to no image degradation. This is not a run and gun camera. You must put a lot of thought and planning into your images and setups while using this camera. Knowing that, this is a fine camera for documentary or narrative work. 5 |

I have a Nikon D810 and some Zeiss Milvus lenses; they are exceptional products but are big, bulky and heavy. By no means am I the first person to note that full frame cameras and their equipment have the disadvantage of size and weight. After reading a number of reviews on the B&H website, and reading other reviews from various sources, I decided to give the micro 4/3 system a try. Although some reviewers have commented on the menu system of the Olympus being quirky I did not find it difficult to get used to. Although the camera is small, it is not at all difficult to hold; the thumb rest on the rear of the camera leads to a comfortable grip. I have fairly large hands and have no complaints about the grip. The IBIS five axis stabilization system is amazing; as many others have claimed, one can hand hold the camera in quite low light situations. Another two features that add to the value of the camera are the in camera focus stacking system and the high resolution mode. A husband and wife team that produce numerous U tube videos some years ago predicted the micro 4/3 system would disappear. I have noticed many other commenters also like the OM-5. I think the OM-5, the just released OM-1 mark II and the expected release of the OM-10 will demonstrate the folly of making predictions about the demise of the micro 4/3 system. 5 |

I was looking for an upgrade to the focus system of my X-T20. I specifically wanted an interchangeable system that was lightweight for travel photography and the occasional street shot if I didn't bring my Ricoh. I went from the X-T3 to this - and many would think I'm insane to give up some of the wonderful traits of the X-T3! First of all, I'm not a video shooter. I just wanted superb quality images in a lightweight system. No need for all the extras either. Many complaints of the x-t30 center around the small size, the, tripod plate mounting hole being in awkward position and one memory card slot. My X-T20, my first Fuji camera and the one that brought me 50% of my portfolio images, is a similar handling so I was already used to these disadvantages. Secondly, most reviews I read were written by men who complained primarily of the ergonomics of this camera. I looked high and low across multiple forums and across so many YouTube videos and not one female ever wrote a review of this camera that I could see and very few reviews were written by men with small hands. Had there been more reviews written by petite women, I would likely have bought it sooner. Ergonomics aside, this is a great lightweight system that delivers beautiful images. I use the pull out screen for discreet shooting on the streets. It does everything I need and more and my file sizes are not outrageous. If you're into travel or street, this should be a very strong contender on your shopping list. 5 |

I ordered a full Lorex fusion NVR system to replace an Arlo system I have and the doorbell arrived first. After learning I could install and set up the doorbell stand-alone I did so and I’ve been very pleasantly surprised. The Arlo system relies on a hub and the signal is just not strong enough to get through my walls, which has resulted in very choppy and inconsistent performance. The Lorex, by comparison, is snappy and responsive out of the box. The image quality is great for 2k and the included micro SD card allows for local storage which is faster and no fees. Really nice product, can’t wait for the rest of the POE system to arrive. 5 |
