Doorbell Camera That Works With Existing Chime

I had installed my door camera and hooked it up to my existing doorbell. The doorbell worked only half the time and caused the chime box to hum. I ordered the Lorex chime box to see if that would work better and it did. Easy to set up and works every time. Lots of odd chime options, but at least there are choices. I would recommend it if you are having issues with your existing chime not working properly.

I installed this as a standalone installation (without an existing door bell chime). I used the google power adapter purchased from the google website. The doorbell was easy to install. I am extremely happy with the person and package notifications that I get promptly on my phone and apple watch. This doorbell integrated seamlessly with my google nest wifi / google speakers. A few seconds after someone rings the doorbell my google speakers chime. My only complaint is that the camera view could be a little bit wider. I I would like to capture a little more of the floor infront of my door. I could probably angle the doorbell down a little to accomplish this.

Easy setup and install. The enclosed manual small print made it difficult to read. Online youtube videos were helpful especially when they guy plug in the doorbell with the USB cable to pre-setup the device on your network was a great tip. The only thing that was missing from the instruction was setting up the chime kit for a mechanical doorbell by going into the settings on the app to change the Doorbell Chime from the default "Wi-Fi Chime" to "Mechanical Chime". Go to settings - - doorbell chime - - - third party chime and select "mechanical chime".

The doorbell and chime works great. Get an alert and doorbell rings by itself when someone walks up. Talk to them from your phone.

We did not have a doorbell system. The door chime works great. It is loud. I had to use the chime reset button to get it to connect to the doorbell.

This chime box is easy to set up with a Lorex Doorbell and it is also easy add to your Lorex account! Works like a charm! I got one for upstairs and one for downstairs!

This was a long-anticipated item (I was asking sales support for it 8 months ago), and it looks and works great. My 1939 house did not have an existing doorbell or chime, and with concrete walls, it was not practical to install a doorbell transformer. I wired the Lorex 4K video doorbell with a USB cable, but didn't have a chime option until this came along.

As long as it chime with the doorbell works outside my shop, the chime is pretty loud and I can hear it from Aaron anywhere in my shop

Cam works Super except the Doorbell don't know how to use step 5 and 6 setup for the mechanical chime

I bought this to be used with my Ring pro Doorbell as my existing�doorbell transformer was underpowered. With this one, My ring pro doorbell works fine.� recommended
