Doorbell Camera That Works With Weak Wifi

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

Nothing simpler to install, connects in seconds and never fails. My Wifi is on the weak side and I had to get some hardware connected for good, the netgear did just that.

I bought this router to extend my wifi to the entire house. I already have a RT2600 and the coverage was weak in distant parts of the house (for convenience the RT2600 is in one corner of the house). Adding this mesh router was very easy using the Synology Router Manger. Just had to open SRM and follow the steps on my screen.

While this is not a scientific assessment of the device, it has done what I need it to do. With COVID-19, I am working from home. Our WiFi is from the living room near the television, and, consequently, I am working from the back room. The signal had been weak, but it mattered less to me until now. Without the Range Extender, I was experiencing a weak signal or occasional loss of signal, especially when using video conferencing. I needed the signal boosted so that I could competently perform my work duties. After two weeks our TV is working well with the exception of having placed the TV in our basement where our WiFi signal is weak. The TV will occasionally buffer but I will have to remedy the problem with a WiFi extender. Otherwise, I am happy with the TV. This is my second LG TV. The other one is upstairs and works well. We have owned it for two years.

I've had one of these in my kitchen for about a year. It's not bluetooth - I knew that when I bought it. The WiFi in the kitchen is weak - but this unit never drops out. I use Spotify, my iTunes library and Internet radio and it's very convenient. The Sonos app isn't as good as iTunes - I don't find it easy to operate - when I search the results are difficult to navigate. Sound wise - I'm no expert - but it certainly fills the rooms with clear sound with tight bass. If you're paying for Spotify or similar then you'll get your money's worth using one of these.

I was using the router that was supplied by the provider but there were certain areas in my home where the wifi connection was really weak and would go in and out frequently. Since i have purchased the RT-BE88U the signal strenght throughtout the house is much better and in the areas where the signal was weak it is much stronger and consistent. Very satisfied and confident with the unit.

I purchased this to handle a weak wifi signal in my basement where I have a desktop and smart TV. So, I debated whether to get a wifi extender or a switch. Decided it was worth it to run a cable from my router to the basement and use a switch. This one time install was worth it. Nothing beats wired. This switch really is plug and play. No issues at all.
