Doorbell Camera Using Battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a camera doorbell system you cant go wrong with this one! It's super easy to install and operate and best of all no hard wiring needed. The motion detector camera works flawlessly and I love getting the alerts directly to my phone. The video is crisp, clear and you can interact with the person on the other side. The battery life is also super long and the battery is rechargeable.

Using this battery plate with the Wooden Camera Battery slide on the new Canon C200. Like all Wooden Camera gear, this plate is a quality piece of gear although I was surprised that the actual battery plate is made by IDX and not branded Wooden Camera but doesn't matter. The cable is thick and heavy duty and should last a while, I like the protruding battery release button, easy to access without being too out in the open. The plate secures to the Wooden Camera Battery Slide with four included Phillips screws. I really appreciate that the plate has not one, but two D-Taps, very useful for powering outboard recorders, lights, EVFs, etc. There are dozens of battery plates on the market and that B&H sells and this is not the cheapest. But if you are using pro gear, why cheap out, buy the good stuff that will function correctly and last a while!

This particular doorbell camera has a great lens and very easy to install.

Not much to say about the battery other than it works as it's supposed to! Using it primarily as a backup to the original battery included with the camera.

Using with Nikon Z5! Good battery!

Using the proper mounting plate on a tripod this thing is instant off and on between tripod and shoulder. The images with b-raw are well, b-raw, magnificent. Use with opt evf and tilta nano follow focus. It's just a sweet camera to use. Noted down sides: Autofocus in loud and slow. I rarely use it but still notable. V-mount battery position precludes the use of timecode in per the position of the USB out on the V-mount battery. Iris wheel is tucked way up against the back of the screen and a pain to get to. Hoping in time I'll get used to the position when using camera on shoulder.

Using this cable attached to aSmallRig DV 12v Battery Plate usingNP-F970 and my A7S powers all day on a single battery. The camera will show the power going down however when you turn the camera off and then back on the percentage will go back up.

Using an on-camera Litepanels light without a camera battery adapter plate is just a waste of AA batteries and your precious time in my opinion. The adapter fits easily on the litepanel and reduces bulk and worry. Camera batteries last so much longer and gives me one less thing to have to carry around.

Using 16 GP Hero 8 units, we shoot dirt track racing. A battery door is necessary to keep it in the camera while pulling all of the G-forces. The standard battery will not last a full race @ 4K. This little door allows us to use external power sources, keep the card & battery secured, and the camera guts sealed from the dust.
