Easy to use, but missing internal memory

This is wonderful new technology. 1. Recording to internal ram or SD card is great. This memory is very affordable. Copying from the internal memory or sd card to a pc is simple with either USB or a card reader. 2. Since there are virtually no moving parts in the camera there is no noise. Lack of noise combined with decent internal microphone means you get excellent audio without an external mic. 3. Video quality is really excellent. 4. The still camera is surprisingly good. It has a flash and even continuous shooting mode. The motor drive sound effect is a little cheesy but I am pretty sure you can turn it off. 5. Small and lightweight to carry around. I have recorded a seminar for streaming on the web and also recorded HD 'talking head' stuff for a video blog. Very, very saticfied so far. I bought a second camera for my company.

The HF S200 is the same basic camera as the HF S20 & HF S21 minus the internal memory, and the HF S21 also has a view finder. The quality of the video and stills from this camcorder are amazing. The colors are realistic and vibrant and the images are sharp. I shot some closeups of flowers and the little hairs on the stems just popped off of the screen. Shooting at close range in telephoto results in very short depth of field giving you those short focus shots that everyone loves from the DSLRs. The double SD card slots are a great feature. Some of the other Vixias DO NOT support the class 10 SDHC memory cards but this camera DOES. I love all of the new features, the larger faster lens and sensor, the touch screen and native 24P. It's so great to be able to touch your image on the LCD to adjust focus and exposure. It makes life so much easier if your vision is poor or the LCD is hard to see in bright light. The face recognition and object tracking is especially helpful too. The stills are high quality so there is no need to tote a still camera to capture photos to add to your videos, or to make prints. I plugged the SDHC memory card into my iMac and was able to download the photos and video clips into FCP and iPhoto with no problems. I shot a green screen test and was able to pull a perfect key with no problem. The internal mics work well although I usually use a shotgun or wired lav for most of my work. I bought extra batteries, the B819 & 827 high capacity batteries and I'm satisfied with the life of all of the batteries. I have 10 Canons / 5 different models. I love that they keep getting better and better. The low light recording isn't bad but it could be better. Other than that my only other wish is if this camera could shoot native 30P. All in all with all of the features and the quality for the price this is an amazing camcorder.

I prefer this doorbell over the RING I had previously. Internal micro SD for recording, is a great feature. Cloud service (monthly fee) not necessary. Lorex security cameras are high end so expected a quality video doorbell as well. Happy with purchase.

I bought it to transfer the memory from internal PCIe to a new one and it worked very well

Christmas gift. I like the internal memory. The instructions need to be a bit more detailed.

Nice memory card for added storage but not for incorporating internal/external memory on tablets.

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

This particular doorbell camera has a great lens and very easy to install.
