Doorbell Cameras With No Subscription

Doorbell works great and does everything you’d expect. I love the fact that it’s local storage and does not require a subscription like Ring. Picture and audio quality is great.

I’ve tried a couple of different doorbells to include Ring and Logitech. I became fed up with Ring and the push for a monthly subscription fee. I initially liked Logitech, but it was problematic since it would disconnect from the Apple Home and be difficult to reconnect. Finally, it refused to charge and stopped working all together. I wanted a doorbell where I didn’t have to pay to retain the images & that actually worked. I paid for the equipment and should not be at the mercy of the company for a subscription. The picture is great. The chime rings on my phone and on the house doorbell chimes. It does what it is supposed to do.

I am extremely happy with the video doorbell. Installation was easy and I like that this doorbell does not require a subscription to view the recording of events. As a bonus, I was able to add doorbell as a camera on my Lorex NR908X and that allows video to be saved on its hard drives. I am glad I did a little research to discover that this was exactly what I looking for.

This is a great doorbell that compliments an Amazon prime subscription. It helps deter package theft simply with its presence. It also works to annouce whose at the door if you have a familiar visitor and google home. I can't wait for Google Aware for the whole home security package!

I was tired of paying an annual subscription for a video doorbell that went off line a lot and did not capture people on my front porch. I have had the Lorex installed for a month now and it has not missed any activity on my front porch and I have never had to reset it. Best of all it came with a SD card, so no annual fee. I am very happy with it. It installed easily and connected to my Wi-Fi very easily. The app works fine.

I bought these to replace seven Samsung cameras that I had purchased and installed throughout our house over the years. Aggravatingly, Samsung decided they were no longer going to support those cameras in their app. I didn't want to spend a fortune on the more popular brands or pay for a monthly subscription for replacement cameras. After much research, I settled on these since they were a great price with no monthly subscription for the features that I want. And surprisingly they also capture very clear and sharp videos - much better than the old Samsung cameras. Very pleased with these cameras! (One small issue was that the old Samsung cameras had stands that would tilt and allowed me to place them on top of bookshelves angling steeply down to capture video of a room. These Kasa cameras are on a fixed base, although they do pan down, just not enough to capture the view that the old Samsung cameras did. However, they do pan up quite quite steeply, so I solved the problem by building a mounting device that allowed the cameras to be flipped upside down so I could still set them where the old cameras were and pan them up instead of down to capture the views that I needed. The app then allows you to flip the image and all is well!)

Easy to install and use. Good quality videos. No subscription. Easy to manage monitoring and alerts.

This camera works better than the Nest and Ring doorbell cameras that I had previously. Same features but responds better and no fees.

I have 3 Nest IQ Outdoor cameras and have just installed the Nest Hello Doorbell. The products are all excellent in quality. My only issue is the lag time from actual movement to the time I get notification. There seems to be a considerable time from real time to notification. I have the highest speed internet available so not sure where the problem lies. Any ideas on how to improve this?
