Dorm Room Window Air Conditioner

We purchased an Eve Weather Station, and a Logitech Circle View week ago for monitoring our pet's room a week ago. Since we only had a couple of window air conditioners available as heat wave was starting, and could not leave room door open, we wanted a way to check in on our dear pet and make sure the room was not getting too hot for their health. Prior to this purchase, we had never made use of Apple's HomeKit technology and were completely ignorant of how it worked. Setup was very easy and quick. In addition to the Home app on our phones, we also downloaded the Eve app (this is not required per se, but may be to allow for firmware updates to the Eve Weather Station when made available). The app provides nice graphing for tracking trends or pinpointing historical readings, for example the difference in temperature before and after we added weather sealing to the window around the air conditioner. We were very happy with how easily this worked out, so we purchased several more and have distributed them throughout our living spaces. We are curious to look into seeing if we can also download the data as backup for later analysis as we experiment with other experiments and changes and attempts to manage heat and cooling. (This is a very old place with original, single-pane windows, there is very little insulating, and a southern exposure!)

This stand holds a keyboard monitor in a dorm room. The small base works great and does not take up a lot of room like the fold up stand we were using. Quality was better than expected for the price. Thanks B&H for good gear at reasonable prices.

I bought these as a gift for my son. He is using them in his college dorm room. They sound really great and they do even better if you pair them with a subwoofer. His only complaint is pairing to Bluetooth could be easier. It is not too bad, but when multiple visitors want to pair to the speaker it is a bit of a pain.

I use this product in my dorm room which has one Ethernet outlet to give myself additional outlets for all my gadgets. I must say that I am not very tech savvy but the product was easy to install and worked immediately. In addition to this I appreciated the size and weight because I had to put it in my suitcase to take it to school and it did not add any weight to my luggage.
