Download Large File Test Internet Speed

We got this because our internet was getting pretty slow. It almost tripled our download speed! Great product

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

When I use my speed test app I'm getting much greater download speeds than I could before, and it feels amazing. My speeds are higher than what I pay for! This modem is definitely worth the money, especially if there are several devices connected to the internet, this modem keeps up.

I use it to back a large file

I have Xfinity and one day I decide to do a speed test, I’m paying for gigabit internet and was barely getting 70 mbps with their provided router. I decided to upgrade and this thing WORKS it was an easy install, a lot smaller than the previous one and handles my internet speed easily no bottlenecks or anything. I have previously bought net gear and ended up coming back I know where my business will always be!

The Netgear CM1000 was a breeze to setup and once registered, I ran an internet speed test to find out that I was now getting the maximum speed for my service. Highly recommend it.

This modem allows me to use my gigabyte Internet to its full capacity with no problem. Speed test shows 965 MB per second Internet speed download.

Put in your NVMe and you've got one high speed portable drive. Great for large file transfers in the field (camera/video download.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WD Blue SN570 500 GBis an affordable NVMe SSD for an entry-level build or upgrade. Its interface is PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe v1.4 with a standard M.2 2280 single side form factor. Transfer speeds are fast for small read and writes but it slows down with large file size transfers. As a test, I wrote and read a 20 gig file. The write speed leveled out to 560 MB/sec at the end of the large file. Read speed ended at about 490 MB/sec. If you want to upgrade the capacity in a pre-built entry-level computer, then this drive is for you. If you are expecting performance beyond average daily tasks, then this SSD could be a bottleneck.
