Download Music Off Cd Onto Apple Desktop Computer

Since my new Apple desktop computer does not have a CD drive, it was necessary to purchase this separately but I would much rather have a separate CD drive than a huge tower!

I use a desktop computer, so I just plug this into my front I/O ports. Works really well and my pictures download really fast. No complaints.

Works great...I got a new Apple computer and it didnt have a CD drive. I needed a CD drive/burner, so I ordered this one and it is great! Small, compact if I should need to carry it with me. I recommend it highly!

The CD's where very useful in recording music.

I am using the Apple Pencil on music scores that I download on my Ipad Pro.   It works perfectly.  I can erase, make corrections and additions, etc.   It is very easy to use.

I bought an Apple disc drive to rip music from a CD for my Apple MacBook Air, and it wouldn't work with my other dongle. I bought this attachment and was able to import my CD no problem!

I love Apple...everything is so easy when setting up the tablet. I have an iMac desktop computer but rarely need to use it because my tablet does just about everything I need to do on line. I replaced my old stereo/cd player/big speaker unit with the sleek Sonos 5. No more messy wires, no loading/unloading cd's, just choose a playlist from my computer or tablet and go. I haven't used any streaming music services because I have so much music loaded onto my computer, so can't comment on that aspect. But I was pleasantly surprised with local radio availability. The Sonos 5 is more than enough for my smallish house. I love it.

I play all of my music CD's and MP3's on my desktop computer routing the line out signal from my sound card into a stereo system that has speakers in various locations in my home. There was always a low level hum while the computer was powered on when playing music, not too bad but not desirable. When the computer was powered off the hum would get much louder and the stereo system would need to be powered down or switched to a different input such as FM or phono to eliminate the noise. I tried several filters and even ground isolation circuits, no help. I determined the problem source was common mode noise, a difference between ground potentials of the two systems. I purchased the HE18 because of the size and superior audio specifications. Very easy to install giving me options for several different connector types, I used the RCA style connectors. Excellent results. Problem eliminated. I do not detect any frequency or volume loss.
