Downloading Entire Itunes Library To New Apple Computer

For those lamenting having to buy Apple Music in order to access their personal library, iTunes Match is still available and works perfectly with Siri on the HomePod. It’s only $25/year and accommodates libraries as large as 100,000 songs. No need for Apple Music. 5 |

Use the headphones at my computer to listen to Pandora, Spotify, my iTunes library, YouTube, etc. With a little volume behind them, sounds are pretty clear, good stereo separation. Over-ear cups provide fairly good outside sound prevention. Comes with two jacks for mp3/computer and for stereo receiver. Coiled cord is handy. Headphones somewhat warm, but so far comfortable for a couple of hours at a time. Gave them 5 stars because they are a very good headphone for the money. 5 |

I love the sound, but I am still trying to adapt to sonos rather than my iTunes library. 5 |

Sonos is my main audio system. I have a huge living room and the Play 5 fills it beautifully with terrific sound, clarity, and separation. The setup took 15 minutes, the instructions were clear, and it went without a hitch. I love the ability to switch between my iTunes playlist, Pandora, Spotify, etc. My only criticism is a nit: I have an extensive (22,000 songs) library on iTunes and the Sonos controller does not seem capable of shuffling the entire library; instead, I have to use shorter customized playlists, play individual albums, or just select songs manually. Not a big deal. 5 |

I'm using this as an external storage for my music collection. The 3.0 speed makes all the difference in communicating with my iTunes library. B&H had the best price around for this 1TB hard drive. 5 |

I use this as an external (vary large) iTunes library with a mac mini (my own media server). Works great, and an addition to my large family of G Tech drives 5 |

My iTunes library is huge. I like having it stored on at least two, preferably three hard drives. It took me many hours to rip all my CDs and manually find the cover artwork since iTunes is pretty lousy about doing that part. I definitely don't want to lose all that so I turned to Western Digital. I already had a 4TB WD EHD on an older PC holding my iTunes library and purchased this one to replicate my library and use on a newer PC, so I have two working copies just in case. I now have plenty of room and can rip any new CDs in ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) to provide the best sound quality possible. Western Digital is my go to brand because of 1. Their reliablity, 2. Their warranty (just in case), and 3. Because their Elements series does NOT encrypt the data on the drive. Highly recommended if you need additional storage. 5 |

I love being able to just pick up my phone and play any music from my iTunes library, it's so easy to use. Sound quality is superb. Nothing about this product has disappointed me, I'd love to get another one if I could afford it! 5 |

I took a long time to buy this product because I was worried my technophobe wife would struggle to operate it. Well, I need not have worried she picked it up quickly and uses it daily. It is my first Sonos product but I intend to expand for other rooms including main tv sound. Set up was really easy to get going but experienced a number of iTunes related problems with my library (album art work and multi disc Cd's).Sonos support in helping with these was excellent! One frustration was albums with the same title e.g. 'Greatest Hits' got intermixed when exported to sonos library and titles had to be modified back in iTunes to resolve this. Oh, by the way the sound is excellent! Quality is same along with packaging. 5 |
