Got mine on sale for $699 and I am thoroughly impressed. The best laptop or computer I've ever had. Does everything I want it to do with no problem. Can handle anything you throw at it. Doesn't run hot and is fairly quiet.

Got this item for use with my old laptop running Linux. The computer's own camera not useful for zoom etc chats due to placement of the computer--needed a webcam to mount on my large external screen. This webcam worked perfectly and easily out of the box with my system. And it fits my budget, too!

Got this monster during the discounted sale during the holidays. I had been meaning to get it for a while and when the sale came up I jumped on it. The cabinet arrived in a VERY sturdy wooden crate and within the crate was a cardboard box and the cabinet packed well with styrofoam. The cabinet itself was wrapped in plastic wrap so that there would not be any blemishes on the finish. Setup was a breeze once we (it requires at least two people) manhandled it to its intended location and plugged it in. A small pamphlet enclosed with the cabinet had all the setup instructions. It works well and within an hour or so after turning it on it had attained its dry level.

The case is hefty and rugged. The fit is superb. The latches feel tough and solid. The lock secures smoothly on each latch. The handle feels secure and the included foam is soft, yet firm enough to protect the contents. It is pick-n-pluck foam, meaning that it is perforated to allow you to customize your foam to fit the contents. The only con I can speak of is that the foam isn't two-tier. meaning, you pluck the full thickness out in little square columns. I wanted my laptop to rest in a bed 1/2 the thickness of the the foam, so I pulled out a full section of foam large enough to allow my laptop to drop in... then carefully sliced the foam I had pulled out so that I ended up with two pieces...each 1/2 of the original thickness. This allowed me to push it down into the void and create a recessed area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to finally back up my computer, which I've been meaning to do for a long time! I'm just using it as a basic computer backup (docs, photos, etc.), and it fits the bill perfectly. At 2TB, I can backup everything on my computer with plenty of space leftover. It's about the size of a cellphone, but thicker. I haven't tried dropping it or getting it wet, but it seems incredibly sturdy/protected. Supports USB 3.0, so pretty fast transfer speed! It gets the job done for me.

It is very useful and I am getting use to it. It's different from the laptop computer. But I like it. Thanks.
