This lens is what one would expect from Zeiss. For those who have grown up with mechanical, manual focus lens, it does not get any better than this one. In my opinion, this lens is a good as any Leica 35mm for a lot less money. The 1/3 stops are an added help with critical exposure. It is sharp, crisp, well constructed. There are only two draw backs; one, it does not come with a lens hood, for the price it should. However, with a great deal of effort from one of the B&H sales persons, they located a Zeiss hood, metal construction, made for a Zeiss 1:2/50 and a 1:2/35; two, I have owned two modern Zeiss lens, both of which have lens covers that are difficult to use. One never knows when the lens cover is in place or ready to fall out. From what I have read, this is a common problem with the new Zeiss lens. That said, the lens is worth the price. I look forward to years of service from this well and beautifully made lens. It is a peace of art in and of itself. Winston

Easy setup and install. The enclosed manual small print made it difficult to read. Online youtube videos were helpful especially when they guy plug in the doorbell with the USB cable to pre-setup the device on your network was a great tip. The only thing that was missing from the instruction was setting up the chime kit for a mechanical doorbell by going into the settings on the app to change the Doorbell Chime from the default "Wi-Fi Chime" to "Mechanical Chime". Go to settings - - doorbell chime - - - third party chime and select "mechanical chime".

I've been wanting to move towards a mechanical keyboard feel. Glad that MX is offering an option now. So far, I've really enjoyed the typing experience, though it is taking some getting used to since I've been on scissor switches for quite a while. I don't love how they switched to a new dongle system with this one so I can't use the MX master 3 mouse with the same dongle anymore - I know they did that to force another upgrade. Other complaint is that their software seems to have regressed in the new mechanical keyboards. example - the calculator quick key still works but it doesn't bring it to the front anymore. Why would that be different from their previous keyboards? weird. Overall, I'm enjoying the keyboard, though.
