Drilling Hole For Keyboard Gaming Desk

The mic is perfect the podium we have. I just had to install the holder with the supplied screws after drilling a hole. The mic is adjustable for any speaker. It could use a better instruction manual for installation purposes, however. 5 |

Though not exactly a perfect match with the Ergodox due to the shape of the Ergodox, it is still doable. This is great as my daily driver and has helped take out shoulder and wrist pain. Only con is that it's not exactly good for gaming due to the edges being a limiting factor. This is coming from someone who games on a trackball. But I won't dock a star from the review because of it as I knew it wouldn't really do too well for gaming when I ordered it. I have put in an order for the Contour Design Unimouse as well for when I need to game. This is the wired version by the way. Wire is pretty long and works well with looping through my desk setup which doesn't have provisions for passing wires through, it's an old desk hacked with a keyboard/mouse drawer. I got the wired one because of bad experiences with wireless keyboard and mice from a decade ago, though of course I'm sure that's unfounded concern on my end with technology being super neat these days. Old habits though. Looking forward to the Unimouse. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t feel like drilling holes in my desk and the max clamping limit was 85mm, so I was able to improvise in the mounting procedure. I love the flexibility of the arms and my only complaint was trying to keep the screens angled down toward the user. It was difficult to adjust this setting with the springs, but all in all it’s a great product. 5 |

This sit-stand workstation sits on top of the desk without any screws, clamps, drilling, etc. It is very sturdy and can support the weight of 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, and then some. Assembly is a breeze (there is none, basically) and the levers on the sides allow the desk to raise and lower very easily. I love it and highly recommend it! One note: the desk arrived with some slight damage/scratching on the surface, but since it doesn't affect the function at all I just kept it. Too much of a hassle to return. 5 |

After reading all the reviews, I knew this was the boom arm that I wanted. And it's actually nicer than I thought it would be. Every little aspect of this thing is just perfect design without any noise when I extend it.... and moving it back and forth is a piece of cake. Plus it is pretty stunning with a nice mike hooked up to it. I use the Samson Q9U and it is a match made in heaven! I also drilled a hole in my desk.... and used the optional piece they give you if you don't want to attach it to your desk in the back... and it's perfect. It fits even better and has a small hole in the back for your USB C cable. I also did what some other people have done and I used a scissors to cut off the neoprene wrapping.... with the huge RODE white, bold letters.... which was in four different places and was completely in-your-face and pretty dumb! Was a little ridiculous for them to do this.... as we don't need to advertise while we are speaking into our microphones. So I just cut it off and it's so much nicer looking and you can still use the clips on top and side for your cable... no problem. For the money, this is a no-brainer! Absolutely best boom arm that you can buy!! Thanx Rode!!! 5 |

I like this product because it comes with both a clamp AND a hole-mount. I fashioned a nice mounting point for my desk by drilling a 15/16th hole in a stainless steel electrical wall plate. I fastened the plate over one of the cable entry holes already in my desk. Now I can video and audio conference in style! 5 |

I purchased the clamp instead of connecting the arm through the desk as this would have involved making a hole in the desk. I prefer not to make holes in my furniture and with the clamp, I can relocate the arm easily as needed. Obviously, installation is simple with a clamp. 5 |

Very good looking monitor arm. It can clamp behind the desk as well as thru the gromet hole (if you have one in your table). The hex key used to assemble the thing is stored inside so no way of losing it. If you you don't have Dell monitor, there is a mounting adapter included which I use. 5 |

I reviewed the product and took a chance that it would fit on my desk properly. My desk has a 2\ x 3\" oval hole near the back edge for passing cables etc. through if needed. I expected to do some minor filling to allow the clamp to fit in the hole. However 5 |

I installed it a week ago which was easy. I drilled hole in my new desk was the biggest obstacle (mental) lol. Seriously it is the most steady monitor stand I have ever put my hands on and it should be given the price. I would definitely buy it again for another application if needed. 5 |
