Driver Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 1000 Windows 7

I used to own a Kensington wireless mouse because I liked how it looked. But it had lousy wireless connectivity and it constantly dropped its signal for no apparent reason. Seeking to replace it, I came across the Microsoft mouse at my neighborhood consumer electronics retailer. I found this same mouse at B&H for $20 less. I love this mouse. It's got a stylish appearance, the wireless signal is rock solid...no more dropped connections and it tracks great. I also like how I can easily power it off to save battery life. The only drawback is that it requires its own USB antenna so when you're using Microsoft's equally stylish wireless keyboard, you're using up 2 USB ports: one for the mouse antenna and one for the keyboard antenna

A great high-quality product once you get it installed. It did not auto-install the driver in Win 7 when the USB connector was plugged in as described in the quick menu. I had to manually install the driver using the provided disk. After that minor annoyance, I found it to be a super tool, very programmable/customizable for command menus which greatly reduces the need for keyboard inputs. It is also easily convertible to left-hand use. I've used an older Intuos2 in the past, so transitioning to the tablet was not a big issue. I really like the smaller size - it's very convenient to use in your lap (especially with it's wireless feature), fits well on the desktop next to keyboard, and requires less hand movement. The wireless feature has worked very well for me and has not presented any problems. It is perfect for Photoshop, Lightroom, CAD work, general-purpose use & web navigation. I rarely use the mouse, although I do sometimes miss the scroll wheel. To say the least, I'm extremely happy with the purchase of this tablet.

If you're a fan of the Mac style keyboards and looking for a wireless, this is your choice! It looks great, works great, and is a Windows keyboard, so if you've been using a Mac keyboard switch over to this and you'll be happy!

The only USB converter that I found that works with Windows 7 64 bit. Just plugged it in, windows went out and found the driver (did NOT have to use the CD that came with) and it works it works, it works!!

Worked great with my Windows 10 laptop. I did not need to use the Driver DVD.

I've been using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard (4000?) for years. I've found that I need to see the keys more often and thought the old keyboard quite large. While looking for low-vision keyboards I found this illuminated model. I thought I'd never adapt to or like a flat keyboard like this but I was so wrong. This is the best keyboard I've ever used. Easy strike, silent, and I can see the keys without bright room lighting -- even without my glasses! A full numbers layout, easy extra function keys, great configuration, easy setup, and a sophisticated appearance. Love it. Highly recommended for everyone at all skill levels.

I use this to make system images on Win 7 Pro... before I do windows update (just to be safe, because, you know, microsoft).  Priced right and works for me.  Generally takes two of these to make a system image of my C: drive with 115 GB on it.  Good safety net.
