Driving Simulator Games For Mac

Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again.

I usually don't play simulator style games, but I decided to give this one a shot. It is so much fun. You really can play at your own pace.

I purchased this so I could run higher end games. MS Flight Simulator now runs at 60FPS on Very High settings which is something that I didn't think I'd be able to do at this price point. Probably the best value you can get for a mid-tier graphics card.

Works perfectly driving my monitor from either my MacBook Pro or my Mac Studio. Automatically switches when either is powered up, or switch input manually. One note: I had trouble with mix/match outputs from computers ie one usb-c/ one hdmi) , but changing both to usb-c made all good.

This is probably the most solid, sturdy piece of simulator equipment I have ever used.

I have a Mac mini 2018 with i7 and 8 GB of RAM with a 5700 XT as the eGPU setup. I play lots of video games and using this previous setup to run at max graphics at 4k is impossible for most games. Many games crashed because of insufficient memory issue, so I decided to upgrade the RAM to 16 GB betting this could improve the situation, and honestly I didn't have high expectation. To my surprise, it paid off! I can now reliably play Monster Hunter World: Iceborne at max graphical settings in 4k with high resolution texture. Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes also work at almost max graphical settings in 4k flawlessly. If you are like me and want to play modern video games at pretty much the highest settings with the Mac mini with eGPU setups, I highly recommend this 16 GB RAM kit.
