Driving Test Practical Simulator

Adds a new level of interactivity to racing and driving games that greatly enhances immersion and enjoyment. I have driven automatic cars my whole life, but for playing racing games or Truck Simulator I really like having the added control and activity that manually switching gears provides. Feel more like a racer or a trucker. Quality is great, feels heavy and solid and mostly metal. Mounted perfectly to my wheelstand pro with RGS upgrade. Quality and functionality-wise I've had no issues with this shifter, it recognized automatically in Forza Horizon 5 without any configuration at all, and was very easy to configure in Truck Simulator with an SKRS truck shifter knob on it. You do need to install a software driver when you first set it up in order for it to work correctly, but it's very simple setup. It is expensive for what it is, but I don't regret the purchase at all because of how much it has changed the way I play pretty much any driving/racing game. After getting this, my setup feels complete. Just a note on the seller: I never ordered anything from B&H before but I was impressed with the quick order processing and shipping. I ordered the product later in the evening of Dec. 12, and received the product morning of Dec. 15. Good experience, I'd buy from B&H again.

This is an amazing small Crushproof case. I would not want to test it with driving over it with a car but I would bet it would be just fine. I use this case for my RED Camera Mini Magazines. I needed to take a hobby knife to cut a few little parts out of the rubber insert but I have to say I feel fully confident when my Mini Mag's are in side.

This lens seems to be one of the better Pentax offerings. I don't have the ability to test but practical observation shows low distortion at all focal lenghs. The degree of sharpness appears quite high without obvious soft corners though all focal lengths. It looks like Pentax decided to really put themselves out on this lens and it should compare favorably or obviously better than the competition at this 16-85mm range.

I bought it and was shocked over how good this unit was, then a review in Practical Photography came out rating it best in test (actually that was the III and this one is likely even better) Cannot go wrong with this unit

After you get over the comedic yet practical design and test this unit, you should find (as I did) the ease of use and adjustability makes this little strobe very appealing in situations where time is of the essence. Yes, it could have been made automatic however, today's digital cameras advantage supersede the era of slide film etc. and allow a quick test of exposure that is repeatable. The modeling light is good. Diffuse/ backlight/ color gel/ a mini studio...Use the Eneloop Pro Panasonic rechargeable batteries for this unit. Good build quality/ price. Very capable unit in right hands / not a toy. I shoot this with a Lumix S1r with excellent results.

This is probably the most solid, sturdy piece of simulator equipment I have ever used.
