Drone Remote With Camera Feed

I use this device to feed live video from my drone’s HDMI-enable remote into a MacBook Pro, where it is fed to mission critical emergency response software. This newer BMD device has been rock solid in function, and in eliminating the need for another Apple-branded adapter for Type C connectivity, is that much more stable in operability. If you have a need to feed video from an HDMI source to a newer Mac, this device should easily fill your need.

I've been using Remote Audio cables for 15 years. I purchased this cable to feed audio from my SONY FS-100 rig to a Sennheiser MKH-50 mounted on a NATO handle. I prefer coiled cables in this application to prevent cable slap when moving around with the camera. Some people may have issues with the 90 degree connecter feed into the camera body but I prefer this set-up as it keeps the profile as tight as possible so I can easily transport the camera rig in an ORCA bag without ever having to disconnect the cable from the camera. I got to tour the Remote Audio facility in Nashville last year. Great people making a great product.

Just used it at a event last Friday. Got a feed from the soundboard into this on my left channel to the camera. Feed was to hot so I used this on 20 and the sound was then fine.

Small but good, enough for my camera and drone.

This is my favorite battery for running my FS5, particularly if I need to also feed my Teradek or remote focus (NEVER both at the same time, out of caution not necessity). And without additional drain, I have run the majority of the day on this battery alone. The weight does not bother ME. Well built, surprisingly long lived in cold weather (below freezing to the low twenties, at least) and a reasonable 1 hour(ish) re-charge in my Sony charger, in my experience.

Bought this for a dual feed need that I had. Works well. Interfaced it with my Logitech all in one remote. I had to do some manipulation to get it to work where it would change from one connection to the other. I was not able to control the power on/off functions with the remote. I could get it to turn off but not back on. I just leave it on always and it does what I need it to.

I got this to hold my new drone. The Small size is perfect for my drone, the remote controller, with room to spare. Right now I’m using the extra room for sunscreen and bug spray. But it would also hold extra batteries. I like the moveable pocket. I’m using mine with a PD strap I already had.
