Compared to what we was looking for in a camera, this is it. Although 6K would be something worth wild for us, 4K suits our needs just fine (plus cheaper). Camera is very modular, although a bit of a challenge to fit onto our Ronin S without an offset plate and counterweights for the sigma art 18-35. Otherwise, to get RED-Like Performance with a menu system that's easy to understand, AND DAVINCI RESOLVE STUDIO FOR FREE? Come On man. That's a bargain if I ever seen one. This Camera Performs at an above and beyond level. Also understand that this is a CINEMA CAMERA, so if your looking for something of the run & gun variety, a DSLR is more adept to run and gun than this, but you can rig it out inexpensively to fit your needs. Need I tell you the playback quality of Blackmagic RAW and how you can manipulate it in post? I literally saved a few shots with blown highlights using Highlight Recovery (Chef's Kiss). Judge for yourself the needs your looking for with a camera because a camera purchase is an investment. I know for one, this Camera is what I was looking for, and proud to have purchased it. 5 |
