Drones With 4K Camera And Range

Very Fast card for drones & 4K-8K video cameras.

I recently purchased a Sony FDR AX700 4K camcorder. I know that this bag is made for drones, but you can also use this bag for a variety of cameras and small camcorders. The quality is what you'd expect from Manfrotto and there are a few pockets to store things like a extra battery and a charger and such. Great purchase and as always great service from B and H photo.

The compact Canon Powershot SX740 HS camera has a long range, provides 4K, and is priced competitively. Thus, I feel it definitely deserves a 5-star rating, and I recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a camera in this class. However, I have yet to become comfortable geotagging with this camera when using the Canon Connect app. What I miss in this series is the built-in GPS which was last included with the Powershot SX280 HS.

This has to be the best micro four thirds in its price range, if not just the best 4k camera in its price range. If you're looking for something to exclusively shoot 4k video don't waste your time with dslr or mirrorless camera. They're good, but they're just not built for 4k video. In order to get one that performs at this level, you're going to have to spend well over $2,000 for the camera. At $1,500 (the price at the time of this review) this cameral is incredible. I'm using it with a EF mount and the Canon EF 50mm F/1.4 lens. I also use the Atmos ninja V and an external audio recorder. However, I still record to an ssd through the z cam and I outfit it with a mic for backup. Honestly, the audio and video I get through the z cam are probably good enough for what I'm doing. Other than that I pretty much keep it mounted on a tripod for studio recording. I create teaching videos. I don't know about how well it performs in variable settings because I can control just about everything I need to. My one criticism is its autofocus. This may have something to do with the EF mount I use. A new EF turbomount is coming out and I'll probably pick that up for about $300 so I can keep using my Canon EF lenses. I may not affect the autofocus, but it should increase exposure and FOV. Still, this camera meets all my needs and some. If you set up in a studio like I do you won't be disappointed with this camera. Definitely not at this price.

This is one of the best cameras in its price range for 4K video. Using CineD, you gain a few extra stops of dynamic range, and the wealth of professional controls and features are very handy. You can hook up an external power supply using a battery-type adapter. It takes all the m4/3 lenses. Dual dials on the right allow you to quickly and intuitively adjust aperture and shutter speed simultaneously; the multiple wheels and buttons can be customized. Focus is lightning fast and spot on, even in low light. The grip is excellent, and the camera is lightweight. I prefer the deep grip of this camera, you can walk around with it without worrying about dropping it, and all the controls are easy to reach. You can use the the viewfinder and the touchscreen simultaneously to focus. The only thing missing is image stabilization, Currently, the GX85 offers IS, but no CineD log. The new G85 (confusing, isn't it?) may offer the best of both worlds. The G7 stills quality is perfectly fine, but not as good as the GX85, the GX85 has a better shutter for stills and no AA filter. The video quality of the G7 is slightly better than the GH4, at a better price point, with less cropping and lower noise. The Sony a6300 offers better video and stills, but it overheats. The G7 is an excellent deal if you want to film 4K, or film 4K using CineD log. If you are not familiar with CineD, use the pre-made Leeming Lut for this camera. You can't go wrong if you buy this camera on sale. If it sin't on sale, look to the newer version which combines the G7 with the GX85. The kit lens: the 14-42 v2 lens is sharp--very sharp-- and lightweight with good color and microcontrast. It has image stabilization built in. Don't pass up an opportunity to get his lens if a combo deal comes your way.

Ok I used another filter and it locks onto the lens of the drones camera like it should. My first one must have just been defective.

Have used in my DJI drones for years with no issues.
