bought this mike to record drum overheads and instruments, decided to try it on vocals and I was realy pleased with the results, does not have a pad or a low cut built in but excellent mic for the price

I own both a Rycote Windshield Kit 4 and Kit 2. The only improvement I would recommend making is to order an optional stiffer Rycote Grey 82 Lyre Upgrade Set--Part #042216--and install one Grey Lyre on the front side of the suspension mount while using a Black 72 Lyre on the back of the suspension mount (or replace both black lyres with grey lyres if you see fit). The grey and black lyre combination works exceptionally well with the Sennheiser MKH-50 in reducing some of the potential handling noise prone to all MKH-50s. It also works great with my Rycote Windshield 4 Kit housing a Schoeps cmit5u. I know everything boils down to personal preference, but for me, running a Grey 82 lyre in the front and a Black 72 lyre in the rear of the suspension mount is a winning combination for both isolation and feel.

This interface does everything I need it to do and more. I am finally able to record my drum kit in to Garage Band using multiple microphones with a separate track for each. Works awesome. there are more features that will come in handy like the pre amps for when I record to tape. I highly recommend this unit.

I use this to photograph my sons marching band and drum and bugle corps. It allows me to zoom in and photograph individuals. I am very happy with it.

I am a studio drummer and drum teacher, so I use the RCH4N Remote behind my drum kit, with band, and to help teach students. This remote compared to the OEM allows me to do virtually everything for a few dollars more than what B&H charges for the Zoom version. Where the OEM has very limited functionality, the Auray has every function you can do directly from your Zoon H4N, it even has the flashing record indicator. You cannot go wrong by adding this to the accessory pack of your H4N!

I haul mostly a full drum set on this, but have also used it for a PA system and other band amps and whatnot. Never had an issue, except the pneumatic tires had to be pumped up often. I love that they added no flat tires! That's why I upgraded. Otherwise, my other cart is still as good as new, with heavy use the past 10 or so years! It has gone over every terrain I needed to. City potholes, small curbs, sidewalks, grass, gravel, etc. Well worth the investment! New cart is also a few pounds lighter than the old model - nice!

What else can be said about the 57? Instruments, vocals, everything.
