I bought this kit in 1995 and have used it well all these years. I've set it up thousands of times in over twenty years. Had to replace a few parts which are still available. The only problem I've had is when a airport put it through a huge scanner and threw it twelve feet into a rubber bumper. It dislodged most of the filaments but quick order took care of that. Oh and by the way... If you develop a nice scrim - gel kit and add a chimera you'll be set. A lowel dp fits in the same case. That's the beauty of this system. Great quality and truly built to last.

I own, and have used for at least twenty eight years, several view cameras, currently I have, 6 or 7, so maybe this gives me some qualification. I have only seen three or four Technikardan Cameras, I own a 6 X 9. This camera is incredible compact folded up, and relative light, I own a lighter 4 X 5, I do not use it, and if you had a choice between the two neither would you. I carry this camera almost every where I go, in my backpack, along with two Super Rollex 6 X 9 film backs. A selection of lens, Super Symmar XL 80, Super-Angulon XLs 47,58, maybe a 72, or maybe something longer. Today I walked 21 kilometers with this kit. I only set up the camera twice today, somedays I set it up many times. The adjustments are very precise and locks in a very positively way. This is the best possible technical or view camera, one can have for lots of walking, or traveling by way of public transportation. My camera is four years old and is equipped to use sheet film or the Super Rollex backs. I truly suggest one of the focusing or viewing aids I have two different ones I use the Light measuring viewing bellows.

Use this microphone in the past twenty years, the sound quality is very best & very low noise. I've got 2 ECM77 & 1 set ECM88.

Love this Mic. I was using an A tech headset Mic before. This one is much better. It doesn't pick up as much of the drum set.

I have 2 Pilots ( one for each camera) and will now be selling one of them . I love this CoPilot. I can control either combination of Trios or 5D-r from Camera in seconds. Does it do everything a Pilot does? no, but it will control 3 zones in either Manual or QTTL fast and with its small size you don't even feel the extra weight.

This is a great size for pilots in a cramped cockpit. Screen is big enough and bright enough to read charts. Battery lasts long enough for an entire flight. Highly recommended.
