Drummer Microphone Stand

Great microphone stand!

This is a simple microphone stand.

I had been hauling around an AKG D112 along with a stand to mic our drummer's kick at gigs. This BA19 is way more convenient and sounds much better with little eq needed. I selected the switchable presence eq curve, threw it on top of the muffling in the kick and voila! Sounds great. No need to haul and set up an extra stand. No more worry about extraneous sound or it moving. Very happy

Setting up a vocal mic for a drummer (overhead drop not possible) using a typical boom mic stand with a tripod base caused me headaches. None of the tripod legs could be in contact with the drum kit hardware as the mic would be picking up unwanted clicks. Dropping the 7 base in between the drum hardware is a snap. I coupled this stand with the MSA 7040 TB telescoping boom for a clean, tangle free set up.

I'm an electronic drummer who was looking for a solution of using studio monitors level to my seating height vs. floor wedges for both studio and live performance applications. The JS-MS70 monitor speaker stands are well constructed, light weight and extremely portable. The quality of the product exceeded my expectations for the price. The stands also comes with removable floor anchors if you need to use the stand on deep carpet and are removable so I am able to use them on hard surface staging. The stand height is adjustable which is an advantage if I ever need to move them from a session to an editing suite. The triangular open bases are sturdy and allow me to position drum hardware footing without compromise when dealing with tight quarter on smaller stages.

Pro drummer needed to replace my 10 year old vocal mic boom. After trying to shop local, getting home and opening the box I was shocked to see a toy boom stand. Played one show with it and the goose neck snapped right off in sound check. Duck tape to the rescue. This stand is the real deal. Heavy duty with weights that really help when working on different stages each show. As a drummer I can tell you that you can't have your vocal mic bouncing around when your playing.

A good mike for drummers or anyone looking for freedom from a mike stand. I'm a drummer, so wireless is not a consideration. I used the Shure SM10A and found it was uncomfortable and not easy to adjust. The Crown 311A was OK, but I like the fit better with the AKG

This is the solution to the tippy mic stand. The boom mic stand has to be just about fully extended in both directions for our drummer/back-up vocalist. With a goose neck and microphone, keeping it from his lap was tricky to say the least. The Life Saver Sand Bag is definitely the ticket to solving the problem until we can go wireless. Quality product, Very pleased

I'm a drummer and didn't want another stand confusing the floor space. This is a good and sturdy alternative. However it could be made simpler to change from right to left hand use. Three little screws and nuts in low light situations - really?

Nice price for a very sturdy stand. Used for a 12 EV speaker for our drummer, saves an enormous amount of floor space. No complaints, happy customer
