Dslr Camera Stabilizer Reviews
Stanley | 2024-05-26 06:36:58 |
I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved. 5 |

The reviews were correct! This is a great DSLR camera. I have no complaints. It has managed everything I've thrown at it... Although I have not tried it under stormy weather yet, but I'm sure it wouldn't let me down. 5 |

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable. 5 |

I use this with my Canon 60D with a RODE video mic attached to top shoe. Researched this product a lot before purchasing. I can usually film for about two minutes straight until my arm is fatigued enough that I need to take a break. For longer shots I recommend getting the vest and arm. I have tried the Sony NX5U (5 lbs. without battery) on this stabilizer, this is a bit too heavy to place on the device. Once again, great for DSLR (with/without vest and arm), not good for larger videocameras unless you have vest and arm. I am able to get awesome, smooth shots with this stabilizer. Everyone I have shown the footage to says, WOW! You will not regret this purchase, it is probably one of the best I have made recently. Took me about two hours to get perfectly balanced and now all I need to do is make fine adjustments now and then, which is so easy. If you are shooting with DSLR and are on the fence about this, get it, try it out, you will be impressed. It takes time to balance at first and then a lot of practice flying it. Once you get some experience with it you will want to use it often. 5 |

The HD2000 works well in eliminating those motion shakes. I use a DSLR and heavy lens which makes it even more shaky when used without a stabilizer. UPs: stabilizes and works well DOWNs: Heavy and really heavy depending on setup takes a while to set up and understanding the stabilizer. Do not be discouraged when first using, because it takes practice, especially with it rocking and it bumping into yourself. 5 |

OP/TECH Stabilizer Strap keeps my DSLR securely against my body when bicycling or hiking. Also works well with a wide angle lens and wired cable release to unobtrusively take human interest photographs in crowds and on the street. 5 |

This is a very handy stabilizer for GoPro or DSLR. It has multiple uses and does them all well. NOTE: Get the extra weights if you plan to use with DSLR. 5 |

A great stabilizer. Using with Sony radios, a Beachtek DSLR Pro, a Nikon D800 and Nikkor Primes. Works beautifully! If you are planning on using it for a lot of long takes, get to the gym and build some upper body strength. I had to and it pays of for long complex shots. 5 |

This is my first mirrorless camera. I also own Nikon DSLR's. I chose the Sony A6000 because of it's amazing reviews and the fact that this camera seems to be a legend in its class. I believe this camera came out in 2014 and is still being sold in 2020 even though additional models have been introduced by Sony. That's relatively unheard of in this era of digital cameras. Great camera and very pleased with it. 5 |

I normally don’t make reviews, but I thought someone should come in and defend the honor of this gadget after a couple less-than-stellar reviews. For a DSLR/Mirrorless shooter, this thing is a must-have. It’s just a supremely handy thing to have in your bag when you need it. When I’m shooting for the big screen, or need isolated audio tracks or phantom power, I’ll pull out my MixPre. But for simple web videos when that’s overkill (whether interview or run-n-gun b-roll), this thing’s great when you want to get 2 audio sources into the 3.5mm input on your camera. Obviously, there’s no pre-amps or phantom power, so I tend to only use with sources that have their own built-in preamps (like wireless mic receivers or a Røde videomic pro). I can lav up two subjects with my Sennheiser wireless mics and record each subject to a separate channel on my camera (on on the left, one on the right), which is amazing flexibility to have. Or I can run a wireless lav into one channel and my Røde Videomic Pro into the other and have that great lav/shotgun flexibility. All in all, can’t say enough good things about this device. Dollar-for-dollar, no device expands the audio capabilities of a DSLR/Mirrorless camera like this thing does. Just make sure you set your expectations right. And that means plugging in devices that boost their own signal. 5 |
