Good, durable, inexpensive microphone for DSLR or video camera. Build quality is excellent. I've used on camera and mounted on a bracket, and the improvement on the audio is noticeable and much improved over the built in mic.

I use this from a line out keyboard to attenuate the signal for the microphone line in for video using a Nikon D5600 DSLR. It works perfectly and seems nicely made.

Videographers often need a simple way to connect a professional microphone to a DSLR or Video camera. This adaptor makes the connection easy. A single microphone is connected to both the left and right microphone inputs of your camera. Works with dynamic microphones and microphones that have their own battery power. Will not pass phantom power to the mic.

I use this every time I use my DSLR . It helps to get rid of the hissing when I make a video because I can place the microphone away from the camera

On the right DSLR that takes video, it allows you to add both an external light and microphone or two lights.  This can be very useful depending on what you are filming.

Used the XM-55 Shotgun Microphone by Vidpro for a recent still and video shoot. I mounted it on a tripod-mounted extension arm with the adaptor cable connected to my DSLR. The sound capture was excellent, little or no autofocus noise (the separation of Microphone and DSLR via adaptor did the trick) and good audio. Really worth it if you want to improve your finished product.

Hands down the best wireless system I’ve ever used. Used as a wireless system for dslr video recordings, interviews, remote audio recorder from pro sound equipment and other things and I couldn’t be happier.
