2 outlets for battery backup that can be turned off when the master outlet device turns off, great for dual monitors. Battery is cheaper than a new UPS.

I bought this to be an emergency backup for a power dual reclining sofa. We have more than our fair share of power outages. I'm not as young as I used to be, and if the outage happens while I'm in the recliner, I'm stuck. They make battery power packs for recliners that are away from outlets, but they're pretty big bucks. B&H had this one on sale, so I thought I'd give it a try. Bingo! Works perfect! I cycled the chair about 10 times with zero problems. I only need it to work once in case I get trapped. Solved the problem, and saved some $$.
