Dual Ssid Wireless Router

I am very impressed with the RT2600AC Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router. It was very easy to setup and update the firmware. It was so much easier than the troublesome TP-Link Archer AC1900 that I replaced. The Synology Router firmware does not require compression software. You just click find update and load it with the control software that is included. The dual bands are more than capable of handling many devices with ease. I have the Blast 150 Mbps package and my Xfinity speeds are now 230-240 Mbps. I am extremely pleased and highly recommend this router. I will buy Synology again. B&H is also fantastic.

I recently bought a dual band router from B&H but wasn't getting the internet speeds I had expected. I checked the built in wireless card on my laptop and discovered that is was a single band card. I found this dual band adapter at B&H and decided to order one. I ordered it Tuesday and it arrived today. With WIN 10 and using a USB 3.0 port, it was as simple as plug and play. I am now getting 3 times faster internet speeds and am very pleased with this device. The price is great as was the free shipping. I would definitely recommend this device for a home wireless network.

Replaced router with 6E router to cover more devices and distance. Speed test over 3 story cabin and detached garage is same 114 mbps download. Removed the 3 Netgear 6 extensions because this new router covers property distance and speed impressive. Very happy. Easy setup. Weird that you can’t have one guest ssid like main ssid. So guest is -guest and -5g-guest. Not sure why can’t be one. Only had it installed a week. But happy so far. First time with network armor so education mode on this app to see if I want to subscribe. Shows detection hits on Panasonic camera which we no longer use.

Very easy to set up. Used the same SSID and password chosen for previous router so my devices just connected automatically. I am finally getting the range of coverage I need.

This was a quick setup to extend the wifi from my TP-Link AX3000 wifi router. It copied over the SSID from my router and now I have strong coverage throughout the house.

Although B&H listed this on release date as not in stock, and only in limited quantities once it is available. Well, let me tell you I had mine in 3 days after placing the pre-order. Setting the MR2200AC was a breeeze and now I have just 1 SSID for my entire home and yard. The Wi-Fi range is so good, I can go outside and go for about 40 yards before it starts getting weak. This along with the new firmware that updates Synology Router Manager to allow the mesh wireless networking, and a new package that monitors Safe Access for each client are pretty fantastic. Intrusion Protection has also been updated and now it is called Threat Protection. The MR2200AC will do both wireless (5Gig) and wired for the backhaul to the RT2600AC. All management functions of the MR2200AC are done through the RT2600AC, making it very easy to configure and monitor. I highly recommend MR2200AC if you are looking to set up a mesh wireless network.
