Dual Touch Screen Monitors Windows 8.1

I have a MacBook Pro dual-booted with OS 10.9 and Windows 8.1 Update 1. This adapter works on both, without any issues. The manufacturer has the latest drivers available on their website. 5 |

I use windows 8.1 quite often. On this mac, all drives (except the internal flash drive) are external. Windows runs great off Thunderbolt connected drives. You can have multiple window drives and select the one you want on boot by holding down the option key. 5 |

I would recommend this to anyone with dual monitors and two pc’s. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 kept adjusting the displays when I switched between computers. It was a real annoyance to find all my windows, icons and screen resolutions messed up every time I switched. I finally after about a week of annoyances found a setting in my catalyst control center to disable display polling which fixed the problem for me. 5 |

This is an internal drive, plain and simple. Starts up fast, extra thin (half the thickness of a normal 3.5 drive), runs cool (thinness allows for more heat dissapation). But... I had bought this to put in an external USB 3.0 enclosure to use with my Dell XPS 8700 which has Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, after hooking it up, it would perpetually disconnect itself during file transfers, especially with files upwards of 1gb. Thinking the drive was defective, I took the internal drive of my Dell, which was the same brand, model and capacity, and put that into the enclosure. Same disconnects occurred. Then I replaced the cable between the drive and computer with a USB 2.0 cable, and the disconnects stopped, although file transfers took 10x longer. This proved that the drives were fine, but they did not work in a USB 3.0 enclosure. I could live with that, until... After a week or so, my computer developed the same symptoms (constant disconnects) for other USB storage devices. Since it was USB 3.0, I blamed the USB 3.0 drivers which Windows 8.1 seems to have implemented so poorly. BUT THEN I STARTED GETTING READ ERRORS ON MY SYTEM DRIVE. I could not back up files without drives disconnecting every few seconds. In short, THIS HAD SCREWED UP MY OPERATING SYSTEM. After a complete reinstall of Windows, everything was back to normal and all my drives (except the Barracuda in external enclosure) could read and write properly. The next day I bought a WD Black and put that in the enclosure... BOOM ... 100gb of files transferred seamlessly. So, to summarize... DO NOT PUT THIS DRIVE IN A USB 3.0 ENCLOSURE OR IT WILL WRECK THE WINDOWS 8.1 OPERATING SYSTEM. 1 month of my life wasted, I can't return the drive since it isn't actually defective, thought I'd at least write about my experience. 5 |

Use it for Windows 8 on old laptop and desktops. It has the same function on touch pad instead of screen. Allow touch screen functions away from computer when you lean back on couch. Nothing negative for comment. Great price! Would like to have backlite keyboard with solar panel. 5 |

We use the dual screen monitors for preview (right) and main out (left) from our Edirol switcher in our video system located in our ministry area for youth. We will eventually upgrade to SDI, but for now are still analog composite. The 2LCD7-3GHD gives us a product we can use now and will upgrade with us when we move to SDI. The unit is large enough to be seen yet small enough for our rack in our video switcher area. Delighted with purchase. 5 |

I've used this for both my main editing screen as well as my monitors at work. It was great on both, particularly with getting my dual monitor setup to finally match each other perfectly. I could never get them to line up, and it drove me nuts, until now. 5 |

I switched from 2 4K monitors to this & love it. I use the dual inputs while working and the entire screen for gaming. More space on the desktop & more immersive gamibg 5 |

I bought the monitor to replace two older 21 inch monitors. I don't think I quite appreciated just how big this monitor was actually going to be! Setup was a breeze thanks to the easy to follow quick guide printed on the box. The first thing I noticed was how much less space was taken up on the desk by the stand versus the the two previous monitors. Windows 10 picked up the new monitor without a hitch. The available screen real estate is amazing! It makes multi tasking a lot easier. The included software "Samsung Easy Setting Box" allows you to configure custom screen splitting so you can drag and drop windows into predefined areas. I found this to be a little tetchy at times; when it worked it was rather handy, but I found myself falling back quite frequently to the built in Windows positioning shortcuts. Gaming using the monitor offers an amazingly immersive experience, and HDR means that the colours really pop. Watching videos is an interesting experience given the super wide aspect ratio as there are large black bars to either side. Overall I'd highly recommend this monitor for both day to day development work and gaming during down time! 5 |

I've been able to connect four Windows PCs (XP, 7, 8.1, 10) to an Epson all-in-one printer. Although my printer is wireless capable, I find USB connectivity more reliable and less frustrating. The packaged software (CD), as well as the included Installation Guide, are antiquated (Windows XP/Vista; Mac OS X) but were still useful for one of my connected PCs. Accessing the product manufacturer's website is required to obtain an up-to-date User Manual and to install applicable drivers for PCs with newer operating systems. This applies to Windows (7, 8.1, 10) and Mac (10.6 and above) with an available USB Type-A port. One 6-foot USB A-B cable is also included. Each of my PCs printed successfully to the one printer as intended. 5 |
