Duck Valley Weather Underground
ZenPhoto | 2024-08-16 07:30:49 |
Use when I am out in the wild doing photography work in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park currently. There are little magnets that immediately hold the tips on place a real plus. In super cold weather you need to buy a hand size hand warmer and put it on he palm of each hand to keep your hands warm. The gloves do fine in say 32F degrees weather but anything lower my hands get cold. 5 |

It's good for sticking stuff when you don't want the residue of duck tape. That's what Gaffer tape is, right? 5 |

We recently filmed a duck hunt during a winter storm.. not only did the wind screen cut down unwanted wind noise , it also picked up sound when covered with snow. 5 |

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use. 5 |

Solid takes abuse perfect for poking the gopro into strange places underwater and underground. 5 |

So far so good! Using as a backup power supply for an underground dog fence and so far is working great. 5 |

We mostly use it to protect our lens for our camera at work, being as we drag the camera through steam tunnels, in mud trenches, inside underground vaults, and through all sorts of other environments. The filter screws on firmly to the end of the lens and protects the lens from scratches, dirt, dust, etc. without distorting any of the pictures. 5 |

I use 50+ of these routinely for delicate electronic sensors that are buried underground in very wet Florida environments for over 6 months at a time. I love the color-changing pattern on the exterior of the pack that let's me now when it's due for replacement or refreshing in a microwave. I used to use the metal type that needed to be baked for 3 hours, but those too long to replenish and were small in comparison. 5 |

This arm is exactly what I needed. I made an oversized copy stand to photograph old city maps and drawings of the underground utilities. I'm using the arm on top of a ProMaster Super Heavy Duty SLR II Tripod. Had to put a couple of weights on the tripod just to make sure it wouldn't tip over with the arm fully extended. 5 |
