Durable Us Cellular Phone

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This thing never needs charging with the solar panel, and gets great cellular reception where our phone barely get any. Highly recommended this device

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.

Pelican cases are among the best in the world, and come with a lifetime warranty. I have over a dozen cases and ship them all over the US. The are durable and reliable. And yes, I've had to clam that warranty once - with quick and easy success. The company is great and has so many products it is really hard to decided on sizes. This case is used for GoPro equipment, and another case is used to put together a Veydra prime lens kit. The depth allows for most micro 4/3 primes to fit with protection, and the size of case is perfect to carry.

I often use my modem on, a Windows 10 computer, to make phone calls, and need to hear the dial-up sounds - to make sure the call is going through, and there is no busy signal. I tried 2 other modems (Lenovo & Sewell) that didn't produce dial-up sounds. Based on the recommendation of a US Robotics tech support rep., I tried the US Robotics model USR5639. It does make dial-up sounds, and dials very fast.

You pay a bit more for Glyph drives but it's well worth it. Glyph drives are reliable, they are made in the US and Glyph has real phone customer support and a solid warranty including data recovery. Glyph is my new goto now that IMO Sandisk wrecked G-tech.
