I bought a device that came with a USB-C cable, and I realized the only plug adapter I had was the Apple USB-A wall charger. What to do? I bought this Xuma USB-C Wall Charger. For Under $10, this is a steal. Just be aware that this wall charger is best for smartphones and tablets. It doesn't have enough power to charge the more power hungry laptops and tablets like the latest MacBook Pro and iPad Pro.

This is a solid build and a complete package, except for the little charger, but who hasn't a USB charger anyway. As some note, one of the two batteries is not charging. This also happened to me until I used the other USB charging port of the device, and suddenly both were fully charged. Not a problem. All fine. What the text does not tell, this device comes in a soft case. Perfectly organized and pretty small. I consider the on-set use of a Pelican case later on while using the soft case as extra support inside of it. So far, I'm happy; it is pretty quiet. The handle can be separated without problems: the instant remote control ability is fantastic. Dolly or job arm use will be more fun in the future. The Screen is a little bit small but usable. The motors are pretty strong. I avoid here doubling to list what the website or the user manual would tell more in detail. I have not been disappointed with Manfrotto products over the past two decades, and it took me five minutes to see this offer to order. No regrets at all. It feels like the quality I'm used to from Manfrotto.

As an engineer I can tell you the USB standard is way too general. There are so many variables. When you connect any USB device to any other USB device a little dance is performed. The device which is plugged in will ask who are you?, Device says I am XYZ and used for XYZ purpose. My version is XYZ, and I am brand XYZ. The computer, or iPhone will decide if it wants to let the device continue to do its task (charge, bluetooth, video, etc) For charging, speed is always best. You might think you saved a lot of money Not buying Apple branded cables or power adapters. But think again. Third party tests are out there showing hard data for using third party chargers/cable combinations. Test results for.. Apple charger with Apple Cable Samsung charger with Apple Cable Apple charger with Samsung Cable Other charger with other cable etc. The studies always show Apple charger with Apple Cable is the only combination which works as fast as possible (i.e. Meets the claims Apple makes). Important: If you are going to buy a third party cable or power adapter, look for a label Made for iPhone, Made for iPad (MFi Certified). This way you know the metal leads, voltages, and that little dance all have been looked at by Apple.

Its not the fastest charger but its not the slowest either. Gets the job done thats for sure. Obviously fast charging usually is with the original wire that a device comes with. But this is a good alternative if you cant find it or want a cheaper option. It is also quiet long which helps usually device charges are smaller in length and can get annoying when u want to also use it while its being charged. I would recommend this its worth it. But if your looking for a fast one this may not be the best for you.
